"Don't stay here if your kids want to use the waterslide."

We chose this hotel for a couple reasons. 1. We use Best Western for our business and stay many many night per month. 2. We were traveling and the kids wanted a waterside. Checked in at 830 and the kids went to the pool (open until 10pm) they refused to turn the waterside on for all the kids in the pool. Said its government rules and they can only run the slide 2 to 8pm (are you kidding me?) Multiple asked for it to be turned on and they refused. Our kids were crushed. We will not be back. We pay for these amenities and no where on their website or booking states that the waterside doesn't operate after 8pm. Do not recommend.

Great room and location, the restaurant staff was great as well. Purchased 1 can of ice tea at the front desk for $5, that was a tad over the top.

"Good"

The full kitchen was a bonus although we had to request a toaster and a kettle. The con was the roomwas above the pool and not soundproof. We could hear the kids yelling and screaming even after hours. We had to call to complain about the noise past 10pm. There were many weird noises in that room including a very loud ac that was either on high or off plumbing gurgling and squeaking above

"Pleasant and good location."

Location, bed was comfortable and it was reasonably quiet. Staff were very pleasant.

Bathroom towel racks had apparently broken off and had not been replaced, there was nowhere to hang towels. The tub needs to be refinished.

"Not good enough"

If you are looking for a hotel in Kamloops, Look somewhere else. I'm a Best Western Loyalty Member and generally like the chain but this hotel is definitely not worth the money. No baggage trolleys at check in or check out. No help. No continental breakfast. No one cares. There are lots of other hotel chains nearby to choose from. Give this BW a skip.

The front desk staff were lovely. Room was clean and nice. Only challenge was there was no parking left on the property, and we drive an EV and would have loved to be able to charge, however, the EV charging station was blocked by gas vehicles parking there :(
