From the moment my son and I walked in, the experience was outstanding. The atmosphere felt welcoming, calm, and genuinely friendly, which immediately put us at ease. Melissa’s service truly made the difference. She was attentive without hovering, professional yet warm, and clearly cared about making sure everything went smoothly. She took the time to listen, answered our questions clearly, and handled every detail with confidence and grace. Her positive attitude set the tone for the entire visit and left a lasting impression. Because of Melissa’s golden service, we left feeling valued, satisfied, and excited to return again soon together.

Went to the wild hare on a random Thursday night. The atmosphere was great and the service was amazing. Sat at the bar and Melissa and Carl were great. They both were super personable and attentive. They were able to provide recs around the city and made excellent drinks.

Superb bar, especially for a hotel bar. Ambiance is great, waitstaff was amazing. Both Melissa and Carlos were all over it, quick to serve, great attitudes, and very welcoming to new faces.

Great location, spacious rooms, and convenient parking just a 4-minute walk away (highly recommend booking through SpotHero for approximately $15 per day, compared to the $65 valet). The bar serves excellent drinks, and the service was outstanding—Lindsay and Vanessa crafted amazing cocktails and offered fantastic recommendations for food and local spots.

We stayed for a few nights and we really enjoyed our stay . We were not only upgraded but the service was exceptional. As a diamond member we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast which was delicious and the portion sizes are unmatched ! We had the best mezcal old fashioned made by Lindsey and Vanessa! They even provided us great city recommendations ! Def stop by the bar and ask for them ! Can’t wait to be back next month!

If you stay here you won't regret it. The rooms are very comfortable and updated. The staff at the bar are very knowledgeable and welcoming. To be specific Vanessa on Monday night and Lindsey on Tuesday night were really cool to talk with. Vanessa makes an excellent Cadillac Margarita and Linsey makes an excellent Old Fashion. And the hotel is located in the Gaslamp. Excellent place to stay.
