Garden Court Hotel Aylesbury

Staff were great and helpful, but still was a pretty depressing place to stay. Shabby interior and room, dated and well past their best, and a few things such as light switches were broken. Hard to think of the bathroom as clean when everything is discoloured with age. Location is decent and easy to find and park there, I'm sure it was a wonderful place to stay 40 years ago when it was last decorated.

This hotel is extremely dated. Restaurant & bar is closed. Air on is switched off to save the hotel money. Windows are single glazed even though the building is parallel to a main road. The rooms are thriving with damp and mould, walls furniture everything in siggt. I would never spend a penny to stay in this absolute shamble of an establishment. The building should be condemned and closed down. The security at the building are smoking and selling drugs to guests. 99% of guests here are crackheads or alcoholics. My own belongings started growing mould on after a while of staying here. I have written to my local councillors and MP regarding the state of this building and the welfare of residents/guests

Booked to stay here last minute as there had been a mix up with our original booking somewhere else. Upon arrival, the hotel & adjoining leisure club looked like a ghost town... Pleasant welcome but restaurant currently closed, so no dinner or breakfast - although we were told about a nearby restaurant & the 'grab & go' breakfast bags, had pizza delivered instead. Room was larger than average & bed was comfy, but bathroom & decor was really dated - shower was so low that I had to bend over to get under it & I'm only 5' 10". There was some air-con type device on the wall but it didn't work so we had to do with the fan provided. Slept well, but that was probably due to being so tired rather than anything else. Probably wouldn't stay there again if I had any choice.

By far the biggest, and most comfortable rooms we stayed in in a very long time. Extra radiator and fan was provided for our comfort, plenty of towels, pillows, toilet paper etc. As opposed to Premier Inn and the like, parking was free, the room itself very quiet and had a night of undisturbed sleep.

Great atmosphere with huge room. Staff was very polite and helpful. Room was nice & clean. Free parking. Gym was a bonus for free use. Will visit again. Big space around hotel for a walk and good safe place for kids to play around. Had a lovely stay. Thank you

Booked two rooms and expected better if I’m honest. Didn’t feel clean and needs a revamp.

The room was dirty the staff where rude when we told them about it . Wasnt told we had acsess to gym and swimming pool till the day we was leaving people smoking drugs out side i payed 105 pound a night too stay in a crack den shocking

The hotel was fine for what I wanted: A bed for the night after meeting friends and to charge my electric car. The staff were friendly and wanted to help, and offered me a free beer on check in, which was appreciated. The room was very clean. What was disappointing was that the rooms were tired, with a very small TV that didn't appear to have any HD channels and no power sockets near the bed. Also I was very surprised to see the hotel was not serving breakfast, blaming Covid even though restrictions would have allowed it. It was functional and reasonable value for the price paid, but I won't be rushing back.

Fantastic stay for five days here always clean and tidy rooms are big fantastic customer service and very helpful Beds are comfy and the linen was soft i was very satisfied with my stay the bar also had different varieties i felt very comfortable with this stay

Didn't know restaurant was closed so only a take out breakfast, which we declined. Reception not always manned but some big bloke with 'Security' on his back sat in the area all the time, playing games on his phone. At one point there were several men hanging around outside and a woman with pink hair, smoking. The fire doors were all open. The beds were hard so we didn't sleep well. The tap dripped. The loo seat was loose. The aircon unit didn't appear to work and just flashed all night along with the fire alarm. The rooms weren't serviced but we got more teabags etc. from Reception. Room was a good size but drab, brown, with unattractive art work. We've stayed with you before and it was fine. I think this place could just do with a makeover.
