Garden Court Hotel Aylesbury

The hotel and its grounds are a little tired. Having said that, the room was a decent size and it had everything we need for the short time we spent in the room. The staff were pleasant, though I don’t think there were many as we had to wait at reception for someone to appear to book us in, then the same girl appeared to serve at the bar.

Bit out of the way. Large room but bed small (was a double). Room would easily take king size Bathroom clean and had bath. Rest of room very basic. Bit dirty in corners of room Ample free parking. Helpful staff. Breakfast fast and ok. Dissapointed couldn’t get poached eggs Quiet area but the air con and smoke alarm both had annoying blinking light made difficult to sleep

Was all very good bar the bed which was hard as a rock! I slept on the pull out sofa on the last night of 4 and was shocked at the state of the mattress. I didn’t sleep well on that bed either although I didn’t expect it to be as comfy as the main bed. When I went to have breakfast on the last morning - I hadn’t booked - I was told that if there was room I could have a meal but as the hotel was full it might not be possible. I ate elsewhere.

This hotel is OK but soulness and in the middle of nowhere

Nothing much. Nothing Else was available. The room was a handikap room

The hotel was clean and with all expected amenities. It was outdated and so in places did look worn. Good service from the staff.

The room was large and comfortable. the only downside being the shower was set up for somebody about 5 feet tall. I am 6 foot 3 three!

Good hotel

We arrived after a 5 and a half hour journey to find they were not serving evening meals during our stay. We were directed to a nearby bar, where the food was lovely. the hotel is a bit dated but clean. Breakfast was not a great affair, being prepared and kept warm. Not a great choice for contonental, so overall.... have no expectations and you can't go wrong staying here. I would not revisit as too expensive for service provided.
