Cawthorne House

Pascal was the most friendly and welcoming of hosts. Fizz and a canapé and delicious breakfast, especially his homemade sourdough of which he is deservedly proud. Our room was spacious and the shower was excellent. Dare I say that the room would benefit from a refresh? A little tlc would elevate it to Boutique standard.

We spent a couple of days at Cawthorne House. Pascal and family were great hosts not to mention the super breakfast with fabulous home baked sourdough baked the same morning. Shortly after arriving you receive a glass of champagne and home baked flap jacks. Very clean and tidy. Would not hesitate to recommend

We have stayed in some lovely B&Bs on our UK holiday but Cawthorne House in Pickering has been our absolute favourite. Beautiful rooms, Pascal was so friendly and welcoming and his breakfast was spectacular. He also provided canapes and champagne on our arrival - such a lovely touch! Loved it and would highly recommend.

Well situated for railway, buses, shops, restaurants, and pubs.Pascal was a lovely host, breakfast excellent plenty of choice. Bed, ensuite shower lovely, room was very comfortable and clean. Could not fault it. Will certainly go back again.

Excellent breakfast & thoughtful welcome treats. Would have liked the towels to be changed as it was difficult to dry them properly. Limited parking

Very Good location, owner Pascal, helpful and pleasant. Breakfasts very good. Plenty of places of interest close by, including steam railway. All in All, a very good place to stay.

Terrific place to stay and explore North Yorkshire. Host Pascal really helpful and baked a great sourdough loaf along with a super breakfast. Lots of nice touches with canape and glass of fizz on arrival. Would recommend highly!
