"Great location, huge potential but currently very run down and dated, certainly in part we stayed in."

A lovely quiet and beautiful location out in the countryside

Dirty, run down, our room had not been decorated since the 1990s. There was dust everywhere, even someone’s sock was hanging from the smoke alarm. Our window view was overlooking old dilapidated sheds, overrun with weeds and large wheely bins full of bottles.

"Do not stay at Avisford Park"

The location

No aircon but windows wouldn't stay open. Held open with coffee mugs. Filthy. Fan in our daughters room was so large and noisy it could not be used. The replacement fell apart and the blades were THICK with dust. That could not be used either. Knife blade on the window cill. Mould on the windows. Shower head broken. Expensive but inedible breakfast, half of which did not appear. Could not cut the sausages. Lowest quality food imaginable. Staff know it's awful and are demoralised and made excuses. Despite calling ahead of time telling them we have a disabled daughter and were taking our dogs none of that was noted. Awful decoration - dirty. Disgusting bed with sheets that do not fit. Carpets in the bar area are black and sticky. Sticky drink splattered over the walls. The kettle was fixed in place directly under the TV and sent steam into it. Safes gave error codes about battery life. Didn't trust them. Photographic evidence available. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING.
