Avisford Park Hotel

I normally don’t leave a bad reviews but this hotel is really outdated and definitely not a 4 star !!! So definitely not worth paying £180 per night as we were charged.

Rooms are not cleaned properly (dust all over the room, limescale in the bathroom, no soaps or shampoos as everywhere else you would expect for being in 4 star hotel and paying £180 p/night Staff are friendly but at the restaurant it looks like there is no management and no one in charge. When we arrived we have found that there’s no more spaces in the restaurant which we understand as it was a bank holiday but when we went in to the bar and outdoor section we had menu’s and option to book a snacks. When we have ordered our drinks we got told that sorry no bar food - snacks available today . Very disappointing. On day 2 restaurant wasn’t busy and we had to wait at least 20-30min for someone to come over to take the order and then 45min wait for our food to arrive at our table. To admit no ventilation in the rooms, no air con so you can imagine how hot it was inside the room as outside we had around 32 degrees on that May bank holiday weekend. No fridge in the room and the only coffee we were getting in our room was a decaf I do not know for what reason . Swimming pool and sauna leave a lot to be desired.👎 In overall very disappointing experience as this hotel has a lot of potential but needs a bit of love, investment, maintenance and good management .

Dated rooms and bathrooms, no aircon. Unable to accommodate walk ins for dinner

Close to Arundel Castle. 7 minutes drive car Nice hall to relax. Tea and coffee in the room

Outdoor pool closed and looks terrible. Cleanliness is poor. A lot dust on watch by bed and the cables, when we was trying switch on the bed lamp we found out that the electricity failed the test. In bathroom a lot of limescale and smell of mould

Good area for the goodwood racecourse

No air-conditioning, no fresh cooked food, all frozen, kept running out of breakfast stuff, in need of definite refurbishment, my room small although booking.com said it was a delux

We had a broken fan, hottest day no replacement. Or attempt to fix. No bulb in main room light. Bath did not drain so was unable to shower after husband as bath already full so after a hot sweaty night no way to shower so a wash was not enough. Hair sticky.
