"An amazing place, conveniently located and in magnificent grounds."

Mr Chin, the receptionist, was responsible for decorating my room and preparing it with "extras" for my 80th birthday. This was a surprise and made my stay extra special. I had a simple dinner (bangers and mash) this arrived hot and well cooked and enjoyed. My eightieth celebrations brought family members for an afternoon gathering in the reception rooms. The team prepared the room and brought food -on time- for everyone. They made sure the event ran smoothly and I thank them for all they did. I pay tribute to Grace and her team for all the pre-planning and "hand holding." With my boat ten minutes away in the marina, I pass the hotel regularly. I must find an excuse to stay again sometime. The bed was vey inviting. Great breakfast the next day. Oh, and a bonus packed lunch - gratis!

The hot tap in the shower had a mind of its own.

Room was clean Breakfast was average

Light didnt work in room apparently no engineers on site at weekends?? Pool maintenance scheduled for 1730 on a Saturday ?? Evening meal an absolute joke ,had better in witherspoon Staff untrained and lacking leadership and management
