Beautiful location, lovely pool and great golf course. Staff were fabulous, food was really good and reasonable price.

Breakfast is quite extensive and good quality. The room was comfortable, the bathroom dispensers contained good quality product (and the bathroom was roomy also). Dinner was good. Staff attentive, friendly and efficient.

The noise of the air conditioning fans outside our room was somewhat intrusive, there was only one green tea bag supplied and the other tea / coffee making supplies were not really sufficient in quantity.

Stayed with dogs and plenty of exercise areas. Hotel very clean and dog friendly

The room was lovely eventually , dinner on the room meal plan was very basic !!!! breakfast was good .

The room bathroom was very dirty on arrival ,but Chin the manager went up and beyond to make everything right for us , very impressed . These things happen ! We moved rooms with no worries , Chin made sure we were truly looked after from there on Chin and his team Zara and Oliver treated us very very well . They are very good staff and a credit to the Hilton .

The setting is lovely in that the grounds with the golfing make it peaceful and well looked after. It was nice to enjoy drinks on the terrace in the sunshine, enjoying the swing chairs. The squirrels playing around were sweet and relaxing to watch. The welcome and care given to our dogs was appreciated - bowls of fresh water and treats. The mattress was comfortable as were the pillows and the towels were soft and nice on the skin. Staff was excellent and tried its best to improve and compensate the poor experience.

The golf club actually limited the enjoyment of walking the dogs. The hotel does not allow you to leave the dogs unattended in the room. The restaurant lacks warmth and we booked the only table with charm (in a bay window) meaning the dogs would need to be left in the car. On arriving at the restaurant we noted that the table was given to other clients so we went to get the dogs and ate in the pub area. The meal was sad looking and lacked flavour despite a very high price tag - staff offered us drinks as a means of compensation but we declined. When I went to my bedroom, I notice some darker shades under the duvet cover - upon checking, the duvet was stained with blood. I contacted reception who immediately offered me another room as well as help to move, a free drink and a free breakfast. I declined all of these and asked for the duvet to be replaced which they promptly did.

Beautiful location, great pool. The hotel is very family friendly. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Fantastic breakfast.

The only negative to the hotel is that there is no air conditioning in the rooms. The room was too warm so we slept with the window open, which meant we were woken earlier than we would have liked by the sound of beer barrels being moved around outside.
