Maui Seaside Hotel

I had a wonderful stay! The front desk staff was incredibly welcoming and provided a thoughtful touch with a cooling towel right at check-in—the perfect start to the trip. My renovated room with two queen beds was beautifully designed and felt very fresh. I also really enjoyed the pool sitting area, which was a lovely spot to relax. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable and well-managed getaway!

The room was way over priced, plus you have to pay for parking AND a "amenities fee" You are paying for a room, this should be included. The staff over charged me on my card and I had to go get it corrected, good thing I was watching my Credit card purchases. It;s really a old hotel that they are trying to keep maintained, it was okay but for the money it was not worth it to me. I have been all over the world and really Hawaii is just overpriced and you are priced gouged to the extreme at every turn. Bali was sooo much better and it's a island chain too. I will not be back to Hawaii.

I was assigned to stay in the older portion of the hotel probably based on the way my travel office booked. I asked to change rooms, the second was just as bad as the first…old, dingy and dirty. Bare amenities. The coffee cups in the room were small “Dixie” cups had to use two to keep from burning my hand. One pack of coffee and one tiny bar of soap…room service every other day and you need to give 24 hours notice if you want service. I felt very unsafe here it concerned me when I noticed that the peep hole had been closed up…weird! and ended up moving to a different hotel the next day. Staff was indifferent and seemed unhappy. The restaurant was down right horrible…food and service alike. The pool and grounds were nice along with what seemed to be a remodeled portion of the hotel.

Location on water with small beach. Pool and landscaped lawn with ocean view was very nice. The attached restaurant, Tantes, was locally owned with excellent, reasonably priced Hawaiian fare.

The rooms are older but are clean, and a great trade-off for the price. Location is great for road to Hana and the National park
