Hotel Delfin PV Beach Resort

Adults only is fabulous. Regular rooms are horrible, dated, and worst beds ever! Many many rules that frustrate guests, see pic! All inclusive food is ok but great restaurants nearby make the food trough less appealing. Regular rooms have no access to waterfront pool or good seating on beach. Concierge is unhelpful and not guest oriented.

Got right in. Room was ocean front, beautiful, big and clean. Anything needed was just a few steps from hotel. Very nice and active area. Can not wait to come back. Totally lucked out choosing to stay at The Delfin.

We stayed in the adults-only section - Rooms have ocean view, totally beautiful, totally worth it. The pool in the adults-only section is mostly empty so you’re in for a treat if you just want to lounge. This property has it all, beach front, amazing location, walking score 10/10. This property just changed names. Needs a remodel badly. Rooms are not good. Old televisions, bad air conditioning, and the beds are horrible. You have check out your tv remote??? The food and drinks for all inclusive honestly is a joke. Also my friends wanted to stop up to my room while I got ready to go out. They made me pay 1000 pesos per person so my friends could spend time with me before we all went out!! Elevator was broke while I was there. Great location !! But this place needs a profesional remodel.

Rooms are a dump unless you go for adults only. Cement mattresses. Way too many rules. All inclusive, food was good.

Where do I start. The location, GREAT! In a busy area of the romantic zone, right in the hustle and bustle of everything. If you are looking for food, shopping, activities, this location is where you want to be. The greatness ends there. Resort? Not even close. All inclusive? Sad excuse. Comfortable? Far from it. Let me elaborate. We tried the restaurant the first morning. Absolutely horrendous. How can you mess up an omelette? Left 3/4 of it on my plate, watered down fake orange juice. I refused to try it again, my travel partner was more generous and tried a second time, also left a full plate of non edible food. Thank goodness for the many outstanding restaurants in the area. Bar tenders were not knowledgeable in resort cocktails, limited bar menu, don’t bring your own cups to save on dishes, they will pour into their cups and you have to pour into your own. Wasteful, but I guess I’m not doing the dishes. Asked for bottled water and was told we get one per day in our room. Warm and no ice anywhere to be found. Wanting a soft drink or more bottled water? Great there is a vending machine for that. Upon checking in was given one key, two towel cards and the remote for the tv, along with a long list of rules and regulations and fines if broken. Was told if you need a key for the safe in the room ask at the front desk, they could never “find” the key that worked to our safe. The rooms are clean, housekeeping did a fantastic job every day. First day there was very little body wash, shampoo or conditioner in the shower, so good thing I bring my own. The beds are as hard as a rock. Might be softer sleeping on the floor. Sliding doors to the patio didn’t lock. Curtains didn’t close completely and it didn’t matter because they are not room darkening curtains anyway. Water pressure in the shower was hit or miss along with the water temperature in the shower. Pools and patio area were clean. Many stairs to navigate around the property. If you have disabilities please find another place. There is absolutely no way to even get to the restaurant without stairs. I even helped another guest carry their loved one that was in a wheelchair up the steps. So overall the best part of this “resort” really was the location. We stopped by a neighboring hotel and checked out their accommodations and will definitely be going there next time. So many great restaurants nearby, if you do stay, don’t opt for all inclusive, and spend your money eating elsewhere.

This is our 3rd weeklong stay at Delfin PV. Excellent location. We have always stayed in the Adults Only Section of the Hotel as I feels those rooms give the best views of the Pier and beach. Pool was well maintained, waitstaff at pool and beach are attentive and housekeeping was understanding of when we needed to sleep in and sleep it off. Delfin PV is in great proximity to all the preferred dining spots in Zona Romantica and walking distance to the LGBT nightlife. Staff are respectful of diversity and inclusive at the same time. We are hoping to go back in June 2025.

Fantastic location

Property was older, built 1970 era, very few amenities, tiny buffet for all you can eat, very limited drinks availability for all inclusive. Small pool. No pool bar, no fridge in room,. Nice access to-public beach. Very walkable the area. Way over priced for all inclusive.

Resturant/ Pools This was the first time that I have been to a Hotel in Mexico that wasn't all inclusive and I would say that if you are buying drinks from the hotel, you're going to be broke. You aren't allow your personal food or drinks(excluding water bottles around the pools but you can have it in your rooms) Didn't end up drinking anything from their bar or buying anything from the resturant so I can't comment on how good or bad it tasted but the resturant looked clean and nice, the food and drinks coming out from it also looked good. There are 4 pools, 3 on the all inclusive/kids side and 1 on the adults only side. we only went into the adults only side as it was sunny all the time and not busy but was kinda small(also was bear week so party was happening on the all inclusive side) Rooms We were lucky to get one of the updated rooms facing the ocean and they are pretty nice. A chair, desk, king size bed, couch, tv and dresser and a balcony with a great view, basically watched the sunset everynight from it. Area Right in the heart of La Zona Romantica with everything being in walking distance. There is an Oxxo on every corner and a bunch of resturantes and little markets for foods/drinks. The pier is basically right behind the hotel and is a really busy spot on the beach/malecon. You will be bugged serveral times from locals trying to sell you something, just say no gracias if not interested and they will leave you alone. Would I stay here again, most likely
