Hotel Delfin PV Beach Resort

Resturant/ Pools This was the first time that I have been to a Hotel in Mexico that wasn't all inclusive and I would say that if you are buying drinks from the hotel, you're going to be broke. You aren't allow your personal food or drinks(excluding water bottles around the pools but you can have it in your rooms) Didn't end up drinking anything from their bar or buying anything from the resturant so I can't comment on how good or bad it tasted but the resturant looked clean and nice, the food and drinks coming out from it also looked good. There are 4 pools, 3 on the all inclusive/kids side and 1 on the adults only side. we only went into the adults only side as it was sunny all the time and not busy but was kinda small(also was bear week so party was happening on the all inclusive side) Rooms We were lucky to get one of the updated rooms facing the ocean and they are pretty nice. A chair, desk, king size bed, couch, tv and dresser and a balcony with a great view, basically watched the sunset everynight from it. Area Right in the heart of La Zona Romantica with everything being in walking distance. There is an Oxxo on every corner and a bunch of resturantes and little markets for foods/drinks. The pier is basically right behind the hotel and is a really busy spot on the beach/malecon. You will be bugged serveral times from locals trying to sell you something, just say no gracias if not interested and they will leave you alone. Would I stay here again, most likely

Overall it was was great for the price about 360$ US for 3 nights. The adults only side. The pool is on the beach and the drinks were great! The nightclub wristband and the uncomfortable check-in, having to sign lots of liability waivers, not so cool.

Fantastic location

The Food Is Not the Best, but it works

The Delfin was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. After just one night of our six-night stay, we had to scramble to find another place. Our patio door wouldn't close, leading to constant street noise and significant cigarette smoke drift from the neighboring room. The AC struggled to cool the room to a bearable temperature. The beds were extremely firm and offered minimal support, and we were only provided with one pillow per person. The deadbolt on our door was broken, and in the middle of the night, someone (apparently intoxicated) attempted to enter our room. The pool area lacked sufficient lounge chairs, forcing guests to stand. The nightly rate felt like a complete rip-off considering the conditions. The next morning, while moving our luggage, the security and management team confronted us outside, demanding we return to the hotel. We explained we were simply dropping off some belongings and would return to check out, but they surrounded us, preventing us from leaving. After a frustrating argument, we were finally able to leave. Do yourself a favor and avoid the Delfin at all costs. You would be far better off booking elsewhere.

Great location and comfortable bed. Poor noise insulation however. Thankfully we had a white noise machine to help us sleep but noise from the hallway and waterfront crowds was loud and distracting. Safe initially didn’t work but staff was helpful and promptly resolved the issue. Great stay, maybe request a room on a higher floor.

Great location and the room overlooking the ocean was beautiful . The staff were very friendly and helpful especially Nacho.

Excellent location

Love that it is in front of the pier. Lights up wonderfully. The rooms could use an upgrade. The room we stayed was alright but the bathroom was outdated, was dark very little light, mirrors were in bad shape. The toilets seem like a toilet in a public restroom. The room only had a small lamp butthe rest of the room did have any additional lights or ceilings fan.

Great property and location. I stayed in the adult section and had a wonderful room with a nice balcony overlooking the pier and ocean. I would not hesitate to revisit this hotel.
