Embarcadero Resort Hotel & Marina

Great view

The location is nice, right along the water and close to docks. We didn't get to enjoy the restaurant since we got there later in the evening, but they'd given us a voucher for a free snack if we'd gone. Had we been there with crab pots and intended to use them, I'm sure it would've been prime location on their docks.

The room felt very homey, but not in a convenient way. We had to move night stands to plug in phones, and the room had no AC. The desk fan provided little to no airflow. We were also disappointed in the lack of curtains on the windows, just blinds. This made the room much brighter and prevented us from resting outside of normal sundown hours.

The view and the full kitchen were great! The furniture was not great at all there sofa was not comfortable and the chair in the living room was very uncomfortable. All the chairs were high bar type which is not good for families with young children.

The fact that we had to bring our own streaming codes to use on the in room . We don’t have those since we have cable TV. Very disappointing.

The location & suite we had were superb, I loved the look of the resort itself and the amenities provided.

When we entered our suite we noticed that multiple paintings were crooked & there were no cream or sugar provided for the coffee machine. We were awoken in the early morning by our neighbor above us stomping and slamming their doors. Their smoke alarm went off and didn’t turn off for almost 30 minutes before maintenance came and we could clearly hear everyone talking alongside the doors opening/closing (not to mention the sound of the smoke alarm being so clear we thought it was in our suite) After that while sitting on the balcony one of our neighbors to the left of our unit was smoking a cigarette and the smoke was wafting into our room. The property is very nice, but the lack of privacy and peace in the units was bothersome as we could hear everything our neighbors were doing.

Room was clean and grounds are well kept. Our room was a great price for the space we had. We will be back for sure! Only down was no boat and truck parking.

We have stayed here many times and love this place. Great location with beautiful Yaquina Bay views. Refurbishing of building exteriors continues. New siding bring installed on building at a time. Because old 70’s cedar shingles siding have worn out — the new look is beautiful. Hot tub and sauna were very nice.

We were in a one bedroom hotel deluxe king. Most one bedroom hotel rooms have many stairs. This was no exception. If you plan to fix your own food with microwave, you will make a lot of trips up and down the stairs. We knew this before arrival, but as we age that may become an issue next time.

Everything - location - cleanliness- comfortable- did I mention LOCATION😆 the sounds of the sea!
