Embarcadero Resort Hotel & Marina

Embarcadero is fabulous! It’s right on the beautiful Newport, Oregon bayfront. The property is beautiful. The rooms are beautiful, clean, and spacious. We can’t wait to stay there again in a few months!

It was beautiful and very clean

Not enough time there

The size of the condo was very nice & roomy. We had a beautiful view of the bay. A great location, easy to walk the town waterfront for dining & some shopping. Easy drive to the ocean beaches. Kitchen was well cleaned, stocked well with dishes, pots, pans, silverware and knives. Pool was nice and warm.

The condo had some cleaning issues. Bedroom garbage not emptied, it was slightly tucked under the shelf so hard to see. In the nightstand drawer there was a small empty drink/alcohol bottle, it was in the back of the drawer hard to just see (but I found it as I put my items in there.) The dresser has a bottom shelf which we put the extra pillows we didn't use, when we took them back out there was dust all over the pillowcases. The living room floor had a sticky spot by the end of the table, between the table and living room chair. These cleaning items were detail things, the behind the obvious & easy to clean areas. I'd like to say we are not "clean freaks" and did not search out dirty areas, but we did find these items in our everyday use of the condo. The kitchen needs a sponge, the dishwasher was nice to use but some dishes needed a scrub, and we had no way to clean them, which left a residue on some of the pans we used. I hate to leave that for the next person if the cleaning people don't check the dishes well. 1 hot tub, it really only fits 4 people, it was crowded each night, we felt like we had to get out to let new people in, so we did.

We had a wonderful experience at Embarcadero Resort in Newport. The staff at check-in was super friendly and they checked us in early, as the room was available. The room itself was on the 3rd floor, very clean with beautiful balcony and balcony furniture. We had a queen bed with a great mattress that was so comfortable. The room was very quiet but we did enjoy the occasional sounds that the sea lions made. We surely will return to this wonderful resort.
