El Cordova Hotel on Coronado Island

Had 2 bdrm suite. One of the bathrooms had significant issues. The tub was warped and felt like you were on a trampoline… very unsafe. The toilet plugged on us twice. The faucets were loose. Needed complete remodel.

The picture is not at all what it looks like. We were very disappointed. It’s old, no elevators and the stairs are so steep, it’s dangerous. You’re in the middle of a restaurant, absolutely not worth the $700 price tag for a weekend!

Good location, you can walk right to the beach in 3 minutes. Good price for the area. If you are a sound sleeper, this could be a nice hotel option. Because it's an older hotel the windows are not great at keeping the noise down and it's a very busy area. They did some vacuuming at 6 am which seems a little inconsiderate to me. The staff is very nice.

An unusual complex of buildings with rooms leading off the central courtyard which houses various independent small businesses, the hotel pool and Miguel’s restaurant. The reception staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Our room was a one bedroom suite with separate living room, kitchen and dinning area. Surprisingly roomy and contained everything if you need. It is a good location for the shops and restaurants and 3 min walk to the beach

We always enjoy our stay. Rooms are in serious need of a rehab especially the bathrooms

A bit noisy. The view was of the roof of the restaurant. The room was small with a very big closet.

Very charming old Spanish style. Loved the ambiance and courtyard. Not for everyone but clean and well put together.
