El Cordova Hotel on Coronado Island

Very good location to utilize beach amenities in front of Hotel del Coronado. Only negative is parking. If poss - dont bring car to the area unless necessary. Can walk to pbeach, resaurants + shops

The El is a very cute hotel. The room was great. I expected one room but there was a living room and bedroom. Bed was very comfortable. Service by front desk and housekeeping was great. Beach is less than 5 min walk right through the beautiful Hotel Del.

Nice little boutique hotel conveniently located near the beach and all the restaurants and shops along Orange Ave..easy to park…comfortable pool area and large, clean room…attentive, friendly staff…had a minor issue in the room which was immediately addressed…all in all a very good experience and highly recommend the hotel.

The hotel was in a great area, across the street from the beach. The bathroom was very small.

Great location, friendly staff and a great room set up. We enjoyed our stay here and hope to stay here again when in Coronado.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite which was very comfortable with good beds. The kids loved the pool and we loved the Mexican restaurant on the property. Staff were incredibly kind, fast, and helpful. The hotel is close to the beach, shops, and restaurants. Cons: no elevators, which makes lugging suitcases difficult, parking is off site several blocks away, the ice machine was broken, and there was no toaster in our full kitchen.

Not worth the money. Very very loud location

I was under the impression that this was a high end hotel due to the cost and photos. I was disappointed in the appearance of the room. Bedroom was tiny with door hitting into bed. Bathroom also tiny. Room was located in front corner of hotel. Street and pedestrian noise. Pool was nice and clean but little to no room around the pool. Restaurants kitchen door opened only 4 ft from swimming pool. There being a restaurant in the middle of the hotel felt odd. Having people dine right next to the pool felt strange. Good location but not a very nice hotel.

This is return visit for me, my father and sister. We used to stay here over 40 years ago. This is still an amaxing place. Staff super friendly, great location and nice spacious rooms. We love it and will always stay here.

Our door didn’t lock in our first room and we didn’t know leaving. We were moved to a second room and the bathroom had water issues. We stayed here years ago and it was good the quality has dropped tremendously and I wouldn’t stay here again
