This was our second time at the Oxford Suites, and it has become our go-to hotel in Yakima. The staff are friendly and efficient. We got a warm welcome from Eric at the front desk when we arrived, and Shane was very helpful handling print jobs on Christmas Day. Thanks to Meredith and the other friendly ladies, we looked forward to breakfast every day. Kudos to management for training and rewarding such a friendly crew. The hot breakfast buffet was very good. We mostly just had fresh scrambled eggs (delicious) but every morning had a different offering, including pancakes, waffles, burritos, etc. There was fresh fruit salad every day and a selection of cold cereals. The rooms are very well appointed. We stayed in an Executive King Suite, which I think is the predominant room layout. There is a nice pocket door separating the bed/bath area from the sitting room, which had a lovely sliding-door balcony view of the Yakima river and the Umptanum Ridge beyond. The rooms all face north-east and the first light on the Ridge was amazing. The room had glass glasses and ceramic mugs - delightful! Such a welcome change from plastic and paper cups. The Lemongrass and Sage-perfumed toiletries were very good. The room was well lit, and the bed was comfortable. The hotel wasn't full (it was the Christmas break) but best I could tell the rooms were well sound-proofed. The location is very convenient, just of the I-82, but also on the Yakima Greenway walk.

Breakfast options seemed to heve slipped since our last stay. Also they were out of bagels.
USClean & quiet. The breakfast was biscuits & gravy, eggs, sausage or ham. It was a great place to stay in Yakima while visiting family for the Holiday weekend.
The hallways were not heated. Other than that, our room was warm & clean. The view of the river was great.

We had a wonderful stay at Oxford Suites Yakima. Everybody was very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was really good tasting and quality food. There’s an evening reception with soup and drink complimentary also included. Rooms are great size and clean. Great location close to everything we needed to get to. Great price for everything they offer. I would recommend staying at Oxford Suites Yakima. Wally

During my family’s stay over Labor Day weekend, I experienced a small complication with my younger brother regarding the air conditioning in our shared room. The temperature was set uncomfortably low, and after developing what felt like air-conditioning sickness, I stepped out to walk between the hallway and the parking lot to clear my head and figure out another solution. While I was walking, Julia— the overnight manager—noticed me and kindly stopped to ask how I was doing. I was honest and explained that I wasn’t feeling well and was considering sleeping in the car because of how cold the room was. She immediately expressed concern and gently asked why I would do that when there were safer options available. Julia took the time to explain what it would look like to book an additional room, including the discounted rate for a Sunday-to-Monday night. She also pointed out that sleeping in the car wouldn’t be ideal for me and wouldn’t reflect well for the hotel, making the extra room a much better choice. Her genuine kindness, willingness to help, and proactive care truly made a difference during a stressful moment. Julia went above and beyond, and it’s because of her exceptional service that I wanted to leave this review. A big shout-out to Julia for being an outstanding overnight manager. Her professionalism and compassion deserve recognition.
Check in was a breeze! Amenities were perfect for a traveling party of 15! Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Would stay again!
