Breakfast was a buffet - meals and coffee s were luke warm at best. Bacon rashes cold and tough. Cereals fine and pastries OK but nothing spectacular Room - for the price, no bath robes, power points at ground level for appliances (kettle). Bed was very comfortable Bar - closed at 2100 and the light bar meals went off at 1800. Bar menu was more attractive than dining room menu (each to his own). Went into town and had a beautiful fresh fish meal and drinks.
AUVery cute and scenic place to stay! My husband and I enjoyed walking around the place and exploring the property. There is a game room with lots of board games and a pool table that overlooks the gardens. The garden wing we stayed at was exceptional! I especially loved the indoor garden. Breakfast was great. Was really enjoyable with the garden views as well! Oh and the bunnies and ducks were so cute!
The room description we booked for said ‘Garden view’ however, we just had a view of long hedges.
AUThe staff was very friendly and informative. The room was quite spacious and well appointed. We especially enjoyed the fire in the lounge after dinner.
AUIt is beautifully appointed with country style gardens and decor. The proximity to Mount Broughton golf course and the gourmet Katers restaurant meant that we had everything we wanted in one location. Add a bath to soak in after golf and a super big room for the perfect stay.

AUBeautiful old world Charm in the main building, intimate dining and beautiful food, albeit expensive for dinner, lovely gardens and surrounds open fires as well. A little taste of English charm and great to stay when it’s cold.
