AUA lovely and charming countryside getaway. The grounds are amazing and the fresh air was delicious. All the staff were so friendly and professional. The restaurant had a good menu, and a good chef to prepare it. Hot and cold breakfast selection was also good.
Could not get the heater in the bathroom to work... and 10am checkout on a Sunday morning!... really!
AUThe location, the grounds, the proximity to a beautiful golf course. The bones of the hotel are spacious & elegant however it is well overdue for a serious renovation.
The hotel is in need of a renovation. We stayed in one of the cabins which felt like the floor was subsiding. The entrance to this had us walking past another room which disturbed their privacy. The cleaning service seemed to only do half the job making us think they had left in a hurry. We were told there was an EV charger only to discover this meant a regular powerpoint. The Devonshire tea was stale.
AUThis was the second time we have stayed at Peppers Manor House. It’s a beautiful property, with fantastic accommodation and the tranquility of the property is very relaxing.

The view from our room, on the far side of the ground floor of the garden wing, was, to say the least, uninspiring - a muddy area complete with several abandoned planks. I think this could be fairly easily rectified, making the view from the room far more pleasant. Other parts of the property were generally obviously given considerable attention, so it was disappointing that this area, which was perhaps out of sight of most people, had been so badly neglected. Perhaps this room was the only one left when we booked. Perhaps other rooms on the far side of the garden wing had nicer views. I certainly recommend booking a room on the garden side instead.
