Residence Inn by Marriott Memphis Germantown

We stay exclusively at Residence Inns as we travel with a standard poodle, probably have stayed in around 50 different ones all over the country. This was was really good: if not new, well maintained, wonderful desk woman at check in and saw her next morning with big smile on her face. In a complex with several other Marriott brands with several restaurants nearby. A nice stay here.

Friendly staff, everything was so clean and the room was perfect. Loved everthing. Great getaway location. Hey like the Terminator use to say..... "I'll be back" our family reunion is this July 4 th I hope to make this hotel our reunion home base..

No complaints at all

I recently stayed at the Residence Inn Memphis Germantown and had a deeply troubling experience. During my stay, I misplaced my iPhone. Although it was found and handed over to the front desk, I was falsely informed that it had been returned to me. To my dismay, I later discovered that an employee had accessed my personal information, including financial details and photos, and had wiped the device, resetting all my important access information. This breach of privacy left me terrified that my personal records had been compromised. Despite multiple attempts to address the issue with the hotel management and Marriott’s customer service, no action was taken, and I received no compensation for the ordeal. This experience has severely undermined my trust in Marriott’s commitment to guest security and customer service. I urge future guests to exercise caution when considering a stay at this property.

Old and falling apart

Needs to be updated. Breakfast food containers were broke, or chipped. Room tables were wobbly, light blocking curtains had holes in it, remote was missing back, walls were filthy.

Filthy elevator and the view outside our room was of a filthy courtyard with trash, old air filters scattered about.

Okay-dishwasher in poor condition and a dining chair was torn up. Mattress in fold out sofa in poor condition but the bed was very comfortable. Please supply More pillows. Pool was clean and towels were there which is helpful.

Nothing

That the a/c was broke and they decided to change me to 2 rooms without even calling to tell me. After all I booked almost a year ago. They could of called and told me and asked what was going on. Or offer me a discount if I took the 2 rooms

Don’t stay here. The hotel is in need of major renovations. Hard to believe that Marriott Bonvoy allows this hotel in their fleet of accommodations. The door to the bedroom was not painted on one side and didn’t close. Actually a good thing because there was no door handle! The caulking in the bathroom looked like a 7 year old did it and there was no drain plug in the bathroom sink. The furniture had to have come from Goodwill as it was torn up. The dishwasher didn’t work and was missing the front panel. The built in cabinets in both kitchen and bathroom were scratched and marked like they were ready to be repainted. The windows had that fog in the pains so the seals were obviously broken. On a good note, the towels and sheets were clean as they smelled of bleach. We would have moved but it was late and pouring down rain. I want my Bonvoy points back!
