Staybridge Suites Irving Las Colinas by IHG

The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good until we realized the roach issue.

We found a syringe in our kitchen cabinet. Also many roaches. I asked the front desk for a bottle of roach spray but never received one. I took a picture of the syringe in the cabinet as well as all of the roaches. Some i killed without taking pics. There were allot.. The elevator was broken for a bit and there wasn't regular coffee 2 out of the 3 mornings that we were there. We weren't even offered a discount if any sort after we notified them of the syringe and roaches found in the room.

Good amount of space for the price. Staff was friendly and attentive to needs. AC worked great in the rooms. The regular beds were comfortable and plenty of pillows were provided. Kitchenette was well stocked with pans and we used the toaster oven to reheat pizza. It was clean and very nice. Rooms were nicer than we expected. Decent breakfast options. Facility was pretty nice. They've obviously made some upgrades over the last few years from other reviews. hallway was a little muggy and the AC condensation was leaking in some places but it was being managed.

The fold out couch mattress was a little thin and we had to request bedding for it, but the staff got it right away. (If we stay again, I'll likely bring a mattress topper from home for it. My teenaged son slept there and didn't complain, but it did look very thin and very worn, but it was clean. No soap provided to clean the dishes that are provided in the suites with kitchenette. I got some from a store nearby, but I didn't trust the dishes were clean because of this.

The price for the suite we booked was amazing. Staff was friendly when spoken too.

Water never gets hot in the bathroom, furniture is outdated. The elevator was slightly scary and the hallways always smelled

Location is good

Checked in to room 103. It is a 2 room accommodation with cooking facility. One bathroom door, the hinge is coming apart. The bed lights doesn't work. There was no plates, mugs and cutleries to use. Appalling service. I did inform the young lady working at reception to resolve the issues mentioned before checking in other guests to room 103. It is not fair on customers and guests. We should be getting the services we paid for.

The outside and the lobby look good . The breakfast was ok.

The rooms need updating and could be cleaner. You weren’t allowed to bring food upstairs. My son was having difficulty walking and needed food with his medicine so we had to go buy food.

Young girl at the desk checking me in was the rudest person I’ve ever met

I did not like the young girl checking me and she was so rude. The rudest person I’ve ever dealt with she should be fired on the spot.
