Bought a stay at a charity auction, upgraded for $250.00 per night. Room wasn’t ready , no call when it was available. No hot water . Bartenders are rude food options are awful . Been to Cabo 3x’s this year and countless times over the last decade . Thought we might enjoy a new property but failed miserably. Again no hot water in our upgraded room.

Had another wonderful stay at Dreams Los Cabo’s, our tenth visit! One thing we think other travelers underestimate is getting to know all of the staff more with each visit. Many have become like family to us and the quality of service is much appreciated. We look forward to our next stay here.

Room: We stayed for 6 nights at Dreams Los Cabos for our wedding and stayed in a ground-floor swim-up King Suite. The room was absolutely amazing. It was spacious, clean, and in a perfect location with a beautiful view. One of our favorite parts was having direct pool access right from our patio. It made the stay feel extra luxurious and convenient. The Barefoot Bar attendant (he was so great, I cannot remember his name but I added a picture) would even come by our patio to take drink orders, which was such an incredible touch. After our wedding, the staff also put a wedding sign on our door, which made us feel so special and celebrated. Food: For an all-inclusive resort, the food was good overall. Oceana and Portofino both had great dinner selections, and we especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet at the World Cafe every morning. After about 4 nights, though, we were definitely craving food outside of the resort for some variety. I also want to mention that several people in our wedding party experienced stomach aches either during their stay or shortly after returning home. Spa: The spa experience was absolutely incredible. My husband and I booked a couples massage and truly could not speak more highly of it. Before the massage, they had us enjoy the spa facilities including the steam room and sauna, which made the experience feel even more relaxing and luxurious. The massage itself was amazing and one of the highlights of our trip. One important note for future brides: I highly recommend booking hair and makeup offsite. I had both services done through the resort for my wedding. I did a makeup trial a few days beforehand and unfortunately was not happy with the results. I skipped the hair trial thinking my hairstyle would be simple enough, but I ended up unhappy with my wedding hair as well on the day of. I made it work, but if I could do it again, I would absolutely hire an outside hair and makeup team. Wedding: Our wedding itself was absolutely perfect. Stephanie, our event coordinator, was an absolute DREAM to work with. She was attentive, kind, organized, and truly went above and beyond throughout the entire process. The staff, decor, setup, music, everything came together exactly how I envisioned it. Dreams Los Cabos really took my vision and brought it to life beautifully. We are so incredibly happy with how everything turned out, and it truly was the wedding of our dreams. I would recommend Stephanie 100 times over!

The hotel is beautiful but I was told that it was not safe to swim in the beach. We were staying at the Hilton beach and golf before we moved to the Dreams and we were able to swim at the beach in front of the Hilton. It's 30 minutes walk from the Dreams. We had a beautiful ocean view room at the Dreams and the Hilton. We'll be back definitely.

We had amazing service from Mercedes in the Preferred beach section! He was incredibly attentive, kind, and genuinely made our experience even more enjoyable. His humble and friendly personality stood out, and he always made sure we had everything we needed. We highly recommend upgrading to Preferred and stopping by to see Mercedes at the beach—you’ll be exceptionally well taken care of. Thank you, Mercedes, for making our vacation so memorable! ☀️🌴🙌🏼

First time going to a resort and it was a great experience. We had a great time all the restaurants were great and the drinks all around the resort were delicious. I would like to give a special shoutout to Ana and Jorge at the Rendezvous Bar which is located in the lobby, closes at 11pm! They truly were amazing and made the best drinks ever! If you’re looking for night life definitely will have to get to go downtown but Ubers are easily accessible. They also have room service available 24 hours, and coco cafe is also open 24 hours. We will definitely be going back.

We just got back to Denver after our wedding at Dreams Los Cabos, and we truly cannot say enough amazing things about this resort. It honestly feels like a hidden gem! One of the things we loved most was the size of the resort. It’s smaller and much more intimate than many all-inclusive resorts, which made everything feel relaxed, quiet, and easy. We never struggled to find pool chairs, and everything was conveniently close together. The resort has 3 pools, 2 swim-up bars, a beach bar/restaurant, 4 restaurants, and beautiful beach seating areas. The main lobby bar was also such a fun gathering spot for our friends and family each evening. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. We were greeted with cold towels, water, and champagne, and every employee we encountered throughout the week was incredibly kind and attentive. At one point, my dad accidentally left his phone in a taxi, and the staff immediately jumped in to help. They contacted the driver, arranged for the phone to be returned, and even coordinated getting it delivered all the way to my parents at the airport. That level of care and customer service was truly above and beyond. The food was hands-down the best all-inclusive food we’ve ever had. Every day by the pool they hosted an incredible buffet with chefs cooking fresh food right in front of you. For our wedding buffet, they cooked the steaks and chicken on-site during the reception, which was such a cool experience for our guests. We also rented a cabana one day, which came with a personal server and private plunge pool, and it was absolutely worth it. Another highlight of the trip was when the guys caught a marlin on a fishing excursion. The resort chefs prepared it for us the next day and created a huge custom lunch for our group for only $20 per person. It was such a memorable experience! Most importantly, our wedding was absolutely perfect. The wedding planning team was incredibly knowledgeable, organized, attentive to detail, and genuinely cared about making our events special. Our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception were all beautiful and flawlessly executed. Our guests raved about the resort all week, and we are already talking about going back. We are so grateful for the memories we made at Dreams Los Cabos and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an amazing Cabo vacation or wedding destination!

We had high hopes for our big family trip, we had family members ages 6 months all the way to 80 year old- however, between mediocre service, hit or miss with food, and lack of activities for our kids/children, especially the teenagers, there was nothing to do except for the one pool area. I would definitely not come to this resort with a big family as they are geared towards adults, couples, older family members. many of our family members experienced GI symptoms so the food/drink was questionable.

The customer service the staff provided was excellent. The hotel does need some updating for its chain recognition. Bathrooms had bad lighting. Overall it was a comfortable stay otherwise.

My husband and I recently stayed at Dreams Los Cabos as first-time Unlimited Vacation Club members, and unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. To begin on a positive note, the check-in staff was very polite, welcoming, and helpful upon our arrival. However, everything changed after we checked in and went to dinner at Oceana following a long day of travel. We arrived at the restaurant around 5:15 PM and spent some time enjoying the beautiful scenery around Cabo while waiting for the restaurant to open. Once Oceana opened, we checked in with the hostess and provided our room number. She initially could not find our reservation, but eventually seated us and introduced us to our waiter. At first, my husband and I were simply enjoying each other’s company and discussing future retirement plans when we were interrupted again by the hostess asking us to write our name and room number on a piece of paper. We complied and asked if everything was okay, and she assured us it was. Shortly afterward, our waiter came over to take our drink order, and we ordered the daily special cocktails along with appetizers. Once again, while in the middle of our conversation, the waiter interrupted us to ask for our room number because his manager requested it again. Although we had already provided this information multiple times, we gave it once more. We then asked about ordering the lobster. The waiter informed us it was $125 and enough for two people. However, when the meal arrived, it consisted of two very small lobster tails that were clearly not fresh. I love lobster, but I could barely eat mine, and my husband ended up eating both portions. We felt completely misled regarding what we were purchasing. As we were finishing our drinks, the waiter came back yet again asking us to write down our room number and sign another paper with a space for a tip. By this point, I was extremely frustrated and felt uncomfortable with how often we were being interrupted throughout dinner. After dinner, we went to the Unlimited Vacation Club office to express our concerns. We were told someone would contact us the following day after 10:30 AM, but no one followed up. My husband then reached out to Louis, our Unlimited Vacation Club representative, who told us he would forward our concerns to the restaurant manager. We still heard nothing until later that day after returning from our spa treatment. The Unlimited Vacation Club representative finally flagged down the restaurant manager, and we had to explain the entire situation all over again. To his credit, the manager did apologize and offered to remove 25% from the bill. He also acknowledged that the waiter should have properly explained that the “lobster for two” was actually just two small lobster tails and not a full lobster meal. Because of this experience, we chose to dine outside the resort at the Marina for the remainder of our stay. Unfortunately, the final issue occurred during checkout when we discovered another guest’s charges had been added to our room bill. The additional charges belonged to room 203, while we were staying in room 1123. Although the checkout staff apologized and removed the charges, it was simply the final frustration in an already disappointing experience. As world travelers, we were truly excited for our first experience as Unlimited Vacation Club members, but this stay did not meet expectations at all. Sadly, based on our experience, I would not recommend this Dreams resort in Cabo.
