The location was very nice and the view very nice staff very friendly

Everything was wonderful

It's a quiet hotel, not very modern but they are remodeling it, the beach is good for walking, the beach is not suitable for swimming but you can spot whales in the right season.

This was our second visit to this resort, the first one being about 12 years ago. It is set in a beautiful location right on the ocean even though the ocean is not swimmable due to big waves and fast currents. The resort is showing signs of its age, but a remodeling effort is underway. My recollection of the food quality is that it was much better 12 years ago. What follows is my assessment of our experience in room 2226. Sofa sleeper in living room is worn and not comfortable. Elevator doors near the room creaked loudly and were slow to open. We had genuine concern that we may end up stuck in the elevator. Snacks were not replenished most days. Birds were flying around and landing on and eating food items in World cafe Some room service food arrived not hot, some unflavorful and caused reverse peristalsis Octavio and Antonio, servers at the adult pool, were excellent, as was Aldo at Barefoot Grill. The Fire show and Mexican night were very good.

I had a very fun and relaxing week at Dreams. The resort is beautiful and the staff is awesome! Selene and Diana were so much fun and made my vacation very memorable! I hope to come back and see them again!

we love dreams! Brought our 8 year old and he loved kids club. Andy, Pao, Tomy and Sandy were the best with the kids. Such great experience with kids club.

My husband and I enjoyed this resort a lot! The resort was very clean, staff was kind and attentive, and the entertainment crew was fun! We really enjoyed Celine with the entertainment crew, she had us up and active and made the experience much more fun.

Great staff, went out of there way to ensure or stay was memorable. Would suggest inquiring about lounge access for premium bar. More family orientated hotel.

Spotlessly clean, friendly staff, great food, not overly crowded. Able to eat with minimal delays in all the restaurants. The resort exceeded our expectations.

Wife and I and another couple stayed here at Dreams we both had third floor rooms on separate wings. The rooms were good and a fair size. Everything worked as it should ac was good hot water was good. Bed was ok as well pillows, and the bedding was always clean. Some like a hard bed and hard pillows others don’t so bring your own I suppose. Overall the room was good and the beer and drinks were stocked daily as well as the coffee which was a hit. Awesome. The hotel staff were awesome. Everywhere you go they’re very good. Most speak really good English and the ones that don’t try their best. Lucas was our waiter by the pool and was very helpful and very polite. Worked very hard to make your day pleasant and always had a great drink or food when you needed. Around the pool the chairs are very busy early and like most resorts the chairs are full by 6:30/7:00. Around the pool the entertainment staff are pretty good. Keep you busy all day with assortment of activities. Staff are always there to help and keep you busy and Manual is a crappy ping pong player so if you’re looking for easy wins play him. He is a super good fella always smiling and super good to all the kids as well. The main pool boss Juventino (may be spelt wrong) was also super helpful everyday he was more than willing to help with chairs and umbrellas. Super classy old man that was also a smiling machine. The food was also very good. Only time you eat at the buffet was for breakfast and lunch which is served later at 1. All the rest of the food was by first come first served. And the French onion soup was to die for. As well as the crb balls. We are at all the restaurants and didn’t have a bad meal. Entertainment was ok in the evening but it was something to do. The Mexican night on Mondays is cool. Good buffet and Mexican treats and a few vendors. Overall the hotel was nice yes it’s getting older and ran down like many older places but for the price I liked it. One thing that I will complain about is that The pool was filthy by mid day and seemed like the filtration systems were not turned on. By morning it was clean but very dirty as well as the hot tub. Overall for the price it was a great place to vacation.

Overall, Dreams at Los Cabos was an amazing resort. I am sure we just got lucky that there were not a lot of Spring Breakers during our stay. It was surprisingly relaxing. (except on the morning of March 10). I think they should pay attention however, on the overall appearance of the hotel hallways. The 1st floor on the non-preferred area of the resort was not clean and there was a bit of trash. I just noticed it was cleaned about 3 days of our stay. The bathtubs in the suites/rooms needed to go. They are too old and you have to step at least a foot in order to get in on the tub. Water also pools around the top rim and eventually flows out of the tub into the floor. We used towels to stop the water from flowing out of the tub. The floor above us (6th) are being re-done so hopefully they work their way down and eventually will have a more modern bathrooms. I mentioned March 10 before. We booked a Cabana specifically #4 for 4 days (March 9, 10, 12 & 13) back in January. This cabana is the farthest from the group and no foot traffic from other people. On March 10, which was a special birthday celebration, there was another group in the cabana we booked. They were not vice to say the least and a bit threatening. It took about 40 minutes to resolve this issue by one of the FD Admin and eventually we were able to use the cabana we booked. I suggest that utilize a more accurate booking procedure. Seems like the other group just booked a cabana without specifying the cabana number. I also suggested that they should use the system that Secrets Maroma used. They have an actual sign with the guests name outside. Also, the Cabana Concierge needs to have a record on which Cabana is being held for a guests each day. I don't think our cabana butler didn't and the group that took our reservations were not advised at all hence, ending in a disagreement. These Cabanas are listed at $600/day. As previously mentioned, our stay was amazing and relaxing, but an experience on a specific day can leave a not so good memory.
