Dreams Los Cabos Suites Golf Resort & Spa

We just stayed at Dreams Los Cabo, this last week and it was awesome! The food was better than some other Dreams we have been too. If you are travelling with young kids who need to eat earlier, I suggest you be in line for whatever resturant at 5:20, as they open for dinner at 5:30. If not the wait could be an hour+ and there is no buffet. The pool side staff and entertainment were really good, Thanks Octavio the pool waiter who was the BEST! The nightly entertainment was also really good and engaging, my kids never wanted to miss a show. The Explorer Club staff was INCREDIBLE! My youngest normally doesnt want to go to kids club when we travel but Andy, Tomy, Sandy & Pau made it so much fun, had a great variety of activites and were so kind he wanted to go all the time! Thank you ladies! We did ask for 3 rooms side by side about 2 months prior to travel and none of the request we had asked for prior to travelled were met, so that was disapointing. They did move us closer to one of the other rooms half way through, but it would be great for them to either let us know they couldn't or have assigned the rooms side by side as we all had young kids and like to play cards in the evening and couldnt. This was really the only downside, to have had better pre-travel communication by the hotel staff. None the less we had a great time. We travelled as a group of 11, and would go back in a heart beat and we have been to quite a few Dreams.

We really enjoyed the entertainment at Dreams! A shoutout to Diana who kept people engaged and excited for games, music and more.

The staff were really nice and helpful. Main areas were very clean. Beautiful location. Kids had an amazing time.

Not enough chairs and umbrellas for the family pool area. Restrooms were dirty at times. Rooms could use an update.

Great room, great resort but what truly put this resort as a 5 star was the staff. Everyone has been so friendly, and they go out of their way to make your stay the best it can be. Our child as an incredibly loved teddy bear and it had gotten lost some time during our day. The teddy was not only picked up and taken to concierge, but placed in a bag for safe keeping. Staff were so understanding and helpful in locating our child’s lovey. We are so grateful for getting this back and so appreciative of how hard the staff here work.

Review of Dreams Los Cabos 6 Mar - 20 Mar 2026 What a beautiful, well kept resort! Rooms are very comfortable with spectacular ocean views. We had a 1 bedroom for our two week stay and found it to be just perfect for us. A few really great dinners… Bordeaux: yummy filet mignon twice, and the cream of asparagus soup is to die for!! Portofino: perfectly cooked gluten free pasta with bolognese was by far the best gluten free pasta I’ve had at a resort! For breakfast we did the buffet a couple times but preferred the Seaside Grill for our sit down breakfasts. Big shoutout to Bernardo (Food & Beverage Assistant) for your valuable assistance with my gluten free (Celiac) dining experience. Santiago at Portofino was delightful and made our dining experience memorable on our last night. The Hostess there as well was so nice! Irvin and the hostess at Seaside Grill were absolute gems that were always smiling and very attentive. Victor at Oceana, Host at Bourdeau (sorry can’t remember his name) was so very pleasant, pool servers at adult pool (too many to name). Karla at Housekeeping…We thank you all for your kindness. It’s the staff that truly make the resort worth visiting! I would like to suggest that the Coco Cafe carry a few gluten free items such as muffins and even bread to make a sandwich. Can be placed in a separate display as to avoid cross contamination. Also, this is the only resort we’ve been to that doesn’t have a buffet open for dinner. It sure would lessen the sometime 1 hour wait to get into a restaurant. Overall, we had a fantastic stay at Dreams Los Cabos Suites Golf Resort & Spa.

The à la carte restaurants are amazing. The resort itself is beautiful. The family pool was fun and entertaining with activities. The gardens and views of the property are gorgeous. Never saw a whale before, so seeing one breach the water only a few hundred feet from shore and literally from the pool is unforgettable. The cons are having to get up between 4:30-5:30 am in order to secure pool side chairs was not fun because if you didn’t do this by 6:30 am, there were no chairs. Secondly the room service was hit or miss. One day we had no towels in either of our family’s rooms despite following the rules of how to indicate getting fresh towels. Also the fridge was not restocked and it was already past 5 PM in the evening one day and not refreshed. My coffee maker in room 428 was never working correctly and you were forced to make a massive cup of coffee that the cup they give you would not hold all the coffee. They would not refresh the supplies or clean up the coffee station so I would have to stir my coffee with my finger as I had nothing else to do so, until I grabbed some stir sticks myself from downstairs. Overall I still give the resort a 5 out of 5 because these were minor annoyances. I love Dreams!

Go find Diana as soon as you arrive. She will be at the adult only pool running some trivia games or teaching Blackjack or hosting the Art walk tour. We are not ‘join in’ people and she made us want to participate! She’s funny and such a kind person - she made our already amazing week that much better. Cabo is beautiful and I loved this resort - it’s small and quaint and all the staff were the best at any resort I have previously been to.

This was our second time coming back to Dreams (we got married here back in 2014) and WOW, they’ve really upgraded the restaurants and the service continues to be wonderful. They are extremely accommodating, kind, and willing to bend over backwards for whatever you need. My kids really enjoyed the lunch/breakfast buffet (it isn’t open for dinner) and my favourite restaurant was Bordeaux (ages 8+ so my littlest could not go but the atmosphere and food were wonderful). It’s a smaller more intimate resort but we were never bored and it was great because we could get around very easily and everything was accessible. Also appreciated that there were garbage cans everywhere and bathrooms in all areas so you never had to go far for anything. Coco cafe was so wonderfully convenient and I liked that it was 24 hours so I could have a snack or hot drink anytime I wanted. My kids (ages 5 and 8) could not stop raving about this resort. A GREAT SPOT!

Overall we had a good time. Beds were terrible, even in our preferred room. Buffett was meh, breakfast was way better at Seaside grill. Kids club and pool side entertainment was fantastic! Manuel and Brian at the pool side entertainment were amazing, so much fun! Definitely do not skip the French restaurant, amazing food and service!

We had an incredible stay at this resort! The staff took real good care of us and ensured we had everything we needed. The restaurants offered a variety of great options to choose from, food and drinks. The swim up bars were excellent and offered some great refreshing drinks. I want to give a special shoutout to the staff at the Explorer's Club/Kids club. Andy, Tomy, Sandy and Pao were great with our kids that there were times that our boys didn't want to leave. They still talk about all the fun they had there. We didn't leave the resort at all but I was told it's a 5-10 minute drive the arches so the location was great if you plan on doing excursions. Everywhere you go, you feel welcomed and taken care of. The atmosphere was very pleasant!! The room was very clean and welcoming and quiet and peaceful when inside your room. It's definitely worth the value!
