INNSiDE by Meliá Ibiza Beach

I stayed at Innside in July 2024 and was thoroughly disappointed with my experience, especially considering how much we paid for the stay. The good points: the rooftop pool had a stunning view, and the food was genuinely lovely. However, I can’t say the same about some of the staff, who were consistently rude and unhelpful throughout our stay. One afternoon, my friend and I were trying to relax on the beanbags by the rooftop pool when a staff member rudely told us, “Move, get out the way, I’m working.” It was completely unnecessary and spoiled what should have been a pleasant experience. It completely ruined the atmosphere and left us feeling unwelcome. On the day of the James Hype event, the rooftop pool was closed for the entire day. This was incredibly unfair as we were paying to stay at the hotel and missed out on one of the main features we had looked forward to. Later that evening, we went to the rooftop bar hoping to enjoy cocktails but were told they were only serving wine or beer due to the event. To make matters worse, we then saw other guests being served cocktails, which felt entirely unfair. We notified a staff member about how we have been treated and he kindly apologised and offered us a free food tab and cabana for the next day, but the repeated issues were frustrating. The next day, when ordering smoothies, another staff member shouted at me, saying, “Couldn’t you have asked me before?” simply because I ordered the same drink as my friend. It was rude and unnecessary, especially as we were already dealing with poor treatment. To top it off, the air conditioning in the room was not cold enough, leaving it boiling hot and uncomfortable. Our balcony was also very small and narrow, making it impossible to sit outside, while other rooms had spacious circular balconies. As two 24-year-old women, we felt we weren’t taken seriously and were treated poorly compared to other guests. While the food and views were lovely, the rude staff and lack of consideration ruined our stay. I’ve stayed at cheaper hotels and received far better service and facilities. I wouldn’t return.

La terraza del hotel es espectacular , todo el personal muy amable , el bufet a pesar que tiene mucha variación no es bueno , por todo lo demás muy complacida. The hotel rooftop is spectacular , all the staff very friendly , the buffet although it has a lot of variation is not good , otherwise very pleased

We stayed here in August after booking six nights to celebrate our one-year wedding anniversary. This was mentioned in the booking form, however, there was no recognition of this when we arrived which is fine as we know this is an extra but a bit disappointing nonetheless as other hotels have listened to special occasions/requests before. The hotel is lovely upon entrance and has beautiful views of the sea as well as a beach with loungers which unfortunately need paid for if you want to rent them for a day (this was another disappointment). The lifts are so small that there wasn't much room with 2 people and a very tight squeeze if more got in. Breakfast was nice and the staff there were great. Our biggest disappointment was the room. We paid extra for partial sea view and couldn't have been further away as we were closer to the road end. The air con was our main issue as it didn't work properly during our entire stay. I told reception about this 3 times, one of these being during the night as we'd woke up with sweat soaking on to the bed during the heat, and was told we would be moved room and the manager would be in touch in the morning. This never happened so I had to again speak to someone at reception who told us there was no rooms and the heat in the room was due to the heatwave. However, a 4-star hotel in Ibiza charging over £200 a night should be well equipped to deal with this. Eventually we were given a fan after 3 nights but this didn't help much. Staff weren't helpful at all during our stay other than the lifeguards and the maids who were all lovely. The rooftop bar staff were rude and on one occasion moved us off sun loungers to make space for an evening event which appealed to their influencer audience. They did not go about this in a friendly way and had a poor attitude. Guests are also allowed to smoke on the rooftop pool which is disgusting if you are next to them as it blows into your face and nostrils. We will definitely be going back to our usual hotel (Naeco) on our next visit to Ibiza and wouldn't stay here again.

Very clean and located at the open bay where you could enjoy the legendary sunset. Walkable to restaurant and other souvenir stores. Breakfast buffet has so much food selection and it's one of the best breakfast buffet we had. Dining room is super specious and boast a magnificent view of the Mediterranean Sea. House keeping is very quick and attentive to request. I would give this place a 9.8.

I don't understand the negative reviews. Must be British people (I am also British). who just moan. Yes the lifts are a little small. No the staff are not rude. They are really nice. It's some of the guests that can be rude. The hotel is a very high end 4* with great breakfast (and we had a lovely lunch there ) There are 2 pools - one has access to the superb beach and the other one the fabulous roof bar. The rooms are fab and the reception area lovely too. Couldn't fault the hotel x

GREAT STAY! Last Year we booked 20+ rooms for friends and family to stay whilst we celebrated our Wedding. The staff were very accommodating and helped us we all our needs. Such a shame I didn’t get any of their names because I would have recommended them for their great service. The hotel was ideal too and we have ZERO complaints from any of the guests. Everyone went away wanting to return. This Year we came back to celebrate our first anniversary and left wanting to come back again after experiencing the great service again. We regularly visit Ibiza and for us, friends and family this is now the hotel everyone will use and has used again. Great place! Highly recommend

it was described as non smoking but i was ill by at the amount of people smoking by the pool the food was terrible plus i was promised a room with partial sea view and coffee and tea and bathrobes but had to pay 20 e a day to get it

Highly recommend for families

Booked and paid for biggest room with sea view - instead we were given their smallest room on the 1st floor room with view of Air Conditioning equipment. No refund for difference either. Nice. Won’t be back.
