Pleasant front desk staff Best part we were on the river side and got to see the dinosaur! In a good location we were close to most attractions Nice to have breakfast available

The breakfast was ok. But the only protein was yogurt This could be improved Staff was very nice and helpful.

Mattresses were very soft

Nice free breakfast. Good options for eating on the run Comfortable spacious room. We had a great view of the river and giant T Rex!

Smell of weed from someone barbecuing ( think it was staff) Stairs to second floor Parking lot. Space was limited for those who had rooms on the second floor

The staff was extremely pushy and aggressive. We arrived a little late due to unexpected delays on the road, and from the moment we checked in, the manager acted irritated that we had arrived near the end of the check-in window—even though we were still within the posted hours. Before going to sleep, I specifically asked about staying past checkout because I knew I had been driving for a long time and had consumed several energy drinks just to stay awake safely. The manager told me it would cost $15 per hour after checkout. I agreed and asked how late I could stay. He told me 2:00 PM. I explained that I would try to leave by noon but was happy to pay if I needed to stay until 2:00 PM. Instead, at noon—just one hour after checkout and well before the 2:00 PM time we had discussed—he came marching into our room unannounced, yelling at the top of his lungs that we had to leave immediately. It was shocking and completely unprofessional. As someone who has owned rental properties, I understand that landlords cannot simply enter occupied premises whenever they want. While I realize motel rules may differ, I still expected basic respect, privacy, and professionalism. The entire situation was made worse because there was no cancellation option available when our travel plans were delayed. We encountered unexpected issues on the road and arrived approximately six hours later than planned. Despite the circumstances, we were still required to pay for the room whether we arrived or not. The motel’s position was essentially that they could have rented the room to someone else, so they were not willing to make any accommodation. That lack of compassion was disappointing, especially when travelers are already dealing with difficult and potentially unsafe situations. The South Korean gentleman managing the property was particularly difficult to deal with.

I liked the restaurant next door.
