The hotel room was run down. There was not reliable hot water for showers. We had to move rooms due to fleas in a bed. Worst hotel experience and would not recommend staying there. Terrible.

Very friendly staff that really creates a family atmosphere. The location has excellent choices of restaurants within easy walking distance.

This hotel held $150 on our credit card. Never paid THAT much! We are retired, and just spending one night to visit our son. We don't fit the profile of thieves or partiers! They informed us it may take 7 - 14 days for our bank to remove this charge. As retirees on a fixed income, this provided a hardship. When we disputed this charge, they informed us that their system would not allow us to check in unless we consented. Then, as a "courtesy", they waved the $3 Parking fee. This hotel had ample ground level (no garage) parking. Why would they charge a parking fee!!! Ridiculous!! We definitely will NOT stay in this hotel again.

This hotel was a mixed bag. The bad news first: The physical condition was bordering on dumpy and in desperate need of an upgrade. The pool and the ice machine were both out of order with no sign that repairs were scheduled. A bunch of broken dishwashers, air conditioners and other discarded appliances were strewn around the back parking and created a makeshift appliance graveyard. The doors to the rooms and within the suites were warped and didn't close properly without being pulled/forced very hard, and the carpet was dingy and stained. To add insult to injury, they recently started charging a small, per-night parking fee for a suburban hotel where the parking lot was only half full. This seems like a petty money grab. I understand paying a parking fee in a city hotel with valet parking and limited space. But this seemed uncharacteristic of other Marriott properties of this type and like we were being nickled and dimed. The good news: The beds were comfortable; the appliances in the room were in working order and the room, which was not by any means luxurious, was stocked with the basic items we needed for a pleasant two-night stay. The lobby was comfortable and clean, and the hot/cold breakfast array and service exceeded our expectations. In fact, what really made this stay okay was the amazing staff that somehow keeps this place going despite what seems like the facility breaking down around them. Big shout out to Keera, Kizmet, and Kim -- who were outstanding and made up for the other issues. Keera was knowledgeable and friendly and made check-in very frictionless and pleasant. Kizmet was the unsung hero of the breakfast service! Friendly and efficient and kept the breakfast area and lobby seating attractive, clean and well-stocked. Best breakfast experience we've had at a Marriott hotel! Last but not least, Kim was extremely helpful in helping us understand the charges and my bill when I was checking out. Overall, the super-nice staff made up for the facility shortcomings at this hotel. I'd give it a higher rating if management got all the amenities working, cleaned up the property and upgraded the rooms. Staff we interacted with were all great! I cannot say enough good things about them. C+ for facility, A++ for staff.

I especially want to give a shout out to Keera, Kim, and Kizmet, the unsung hero of the breakfast service -- who were all absolutely outstanding and made up for the other issues. Overall, I grade the facilities a C+ and the staff an A+.

every hotel person, everyone, whom i came in contact with, was awesome and helpful and pro guest.

Our initial room had a few problems. They switched to a different room the next day and everything was great.
