The best staff we have encountered in our Switzerland trip! Everyone was friendly, kind, and helpful. The view from our room was spectacular, also! Only downside was the tub was slippery making showering tricky.

The bed are too soft that I don't feel comfortable each morning.

Initial was not happy but when I saw the view it was great. Wifi not so great.

A good standard hotel situated on the waterway between west and east Interlaken, with good views from the balcony into the town and the mountains beyond. About ten minutes walk from the train/bus and ship stations on the West side and 15 minutes to the east.Excellent service at reception and at breakfast, with a good choice of food. Rooms, including the bathroom are compact, with tea and coffee making facilities. Some noise transference from adjoining rooms may disturb lighter sleepers.

This is my third stay over 8 years or so. Its in a great, quiet location with private parking which is key for me. My single room was clean and tidy but very very hot even with the balcony door open all night. Hotels at this price really should have air con. The WiFi signal was fine although I was above the bar restaurant so perhaps no surprise. It was very slow / unusable in the evening as I guess everyone was on it. I used the hotel as a base for a couple of days driving around the alps and for this it was superb. Staff were very nice. Just needs AC really...

The hotel is lovely and the staff are amazingly friendly. I just wish they had air conditioning in the rooms as it does get very hot in the summer, especially if you have a mountain view room, hence the lower room comfort score. Other than that the place is spotless and very comfortably furnished. This was our second trip to the Goldey Swiss.

It was nice the room I stay in front of river and Jungfraujoch mountain view. Location is good convenient to walk anywhere, Walk to Interlaken OST take about 8 mins by riverside path, NO AIRCON & No Ceiling Fan provides, stay during AUG summer room is hot, the staff advised me not to close balcony door for night, or you can rental a stand fan from staff charges CHF10 per night.

Location is excellent. 8 min walk hence, not too close to the town center. However, the best view of Swiss Alps and river from the balcony. Some of the staff is sweet however, they get very rude upon the check out timings. We were delayed by 20 mins and did communicate that to them but had constant calls and house keeping guests banging and barging into our room (But thats all of Europe). Upon check out they gifted us a chocolate bar which was a sweet gesture.

It wasn't a pleasant stay. Mosquitoes in the room. No value of money.

I stayed here 3 nights: 17/7 to 19/7 inc. I was in a single room which is on the side of the building but still has views over mountains and the old town. The room was quite small with a lack of surfaces; there was one small table and no bedside table. The single bed was comfortable and there was a neat efficient shower/bathroom. There was a balcony with table and chair. The main problem was the lack of air-conditioning; as temperatures were 30 degrees plus it was uncomfortable. There was a good substantial breakfast and a lounge where free coffee and cake was served 2pm - 5pm. Diane and her team provided a very good service and were helpful regarding sightseeing options. The hotel is a 15 min walk to Interlaken Ost and 20 minutes to Interlaken West and 10 minutes to the centre of town. Overall I would recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay.
