Great location, breakfast, and modern bathroom. Highly recommended.

I stayed here with my son for a weekend of skiing. Location was good for us although a little bit of a walk to eating locations (maybe 10 minutes walk in either direction). There is a ski bus to Garmisch nearby but we just opted to drive (parking at Garmisch was 5EUR and it saved us probably 15 minutes there and 30 minutes back). Zugspitze was about a 15 minute drive and much better snow conditions My son enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and sauna (I preferred the hot tub). Breakfast was typical German continental style; would have been nice to have flax seed or similar to add to the yogurt. Would stay again.

The hotel is a classic German hotel of its type and age. It has been very well maintained and is being managed very well by its current owners. Highly recommend it to anyone...

A great historic property. They initially put us in a room shown on Expedia as a significantly less expensive than the room we booked. We requested the proper room and after some murmuring about equivalent rooms they put us in the room shown that we booked. It was a vast improvement on which we had splurged when booking. Make sure you get the room you booked. The sauna was very nice, but the hot tub and indoor pool were quite cold.

The hotel is very nice, very well located, the staff is friendly. However, the rooms are old and the bathroom installation was not the best.

Arrived very late but greeted with a warm welcome. Beautiful hotel right in the middle of town walking distance to good choice of restaurants. Huge and comfortable and clean room. Lovely spa and swimming pool. Overall excellent and would very happily go back during our next ski trip.
