"Very pleasant stay"

The location obviously can't be beaten. The lake view from the room brought serenity and calm. The staff was polite and allowed for privacy. The room was clean. Loved the variety and the quality of the plant based options for breakfast, just outstanding. Enjoyed also the dinner experience in the hotel restaurant - excellent and attentive chef. Liked the check out time that allowed for a leisure morning.

Nous avons tout aimé à propos de cet hôtel. L’emplacement avec son écrin de verdure et son lac et sa forêt merveilleuse, la réception avec le personnel chaleureux et sympathique, la chambre très joliment décorée, donnant sur le lac et les montagnes en arrière plan, l’équipement et la propreté impeccable, le restaurant avec sa cuisine inventive et vraiment succulente et le service attentif et amical. Nous avons eu la surprise de faire de belles rencontres avec des serveuses françaises fort sympathiques.

"A hotel with views, great staff and fabulous food."

Fabulous location, lovely food and wonderful staff. Nice vibe throughout whole hotel between guests and staff. Could not have been nicer or more helpful. Lovely walks from hotel and views to die for.

Room had a slight damp smell and could hear other guests upstairs but quiet at night and slept well.

"An absolute gem that should not be missed."

Exceptionally beautiful lakeside location. Flawlessly prepared, delicious food using local fresh ingredients. Local beverages available in the bar. Staff were excellent, to a person. Stunning walks for varying abilities in Irelands first forest Park. Bikes available for hire to explore the local area. Easy road access to sheep's head and Bearra penninsulas.

I could find no fault with this stay. Even the rain on our first day enhanced the atmosphere and bathed the countryside in a more gentle light.
