Comfortable bed. But i feel the property could be updating. Especially bathrooms. And usb sockets . Tv put of position.

Hotel was advertised as spa with pool/gym etc, but didn’t state you have to pay extra for this. The receptionist was rude and he ignored both me and another customer when asked to speak to manager, then said no one was available. Charged extra for WiFi. Room itself was ok, but bathroom very dated, cracked tiles, shower barely powerful enough to wash with. Worst hotel I’ve stayed in for a long time!

The room is great, clean, and newly refurbished, although we did order a twin room but was allocated a double, but after all of the drama when we finally took all of our bags to the room we just felt it was too late to mess about. The rest of the experience was abysmal. From the moment we walked in it was chaos, there was a huge queue and the poor lady on desk was obviously stressed and trying to check everyone in on the phone with someone else. We arrived around 7.30 and were checked in around 20 mins later and asked if we could get food, we were advised the brasserie was closed and that only the TDG menu was available - we had no idea what this was and wasn’t told. We went to the bar and asked the staff what it was and he advised it’s pre-order only, this wasn’t advised when booking, said he couldn’t do this but said there was a bar menu - my sister is coeliac so we were extremely pleased to see the amount of gluten free opts! We took the menu to a table with a glass of wine whilst we browsed the me u and decided food. The response we had trying to order was awful, we were advised that nothing at all on the menu had gluten free options and ‘the chef who wrote it doesn’t know what he’s doing’, even if though there were posters everywhere promoting allergies, and the staff not the chef knew nothing about it. In the end around 9pm with no reassurance at all we ordered food from a local takeaway which took an hour, all we wanted was a relaxing evening, a bit of food, a s

Have been staying here for a few years now, good value for money, shame this time someone decided to play music quite loudly at 2.30AM , so got up and went home!!!
