Stranden og havet var simpelhen outstanding. Gæstfriheden var også super. Store poolområder og ingen mennesker. Var nærmest helt alene.

Gulvet i café og spiseområdet var decideret farligt at færdes på og burde blive udskiftet straks!! Mangel på parasoller til liggestole. Der er ikke meget at bruge en liggestol til i troperne hvis der ikke er skygge. Det spa der var tilkoblet boligen havde vi ikke lyst til at anvende da det så lidt skummelt ud. Der lå store affaldsposer med affald på stranden. Forstår ikke man ikke får det ryddet væk, det tager jo 5 minutter at rydde væk. Generelt ikke europæisk standard på slid og ryddelighed. Det er ærgeligt for det er små ting, som vil hæve helhedsindtrykket gevaldigt.

DO NOT STAY HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES – SERIOUS SAFETY INCIDENT, DRINK SPIKING & FORCED EARLY DEPARTURE (TWO FEMALE TRAVELLERS) I am writing this review to issue a serious warning about our stay at Centara Villas, Koh Samui over Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We were two female travellers, and our stay resulted in a suspected drink spiking incident, a complete loss of trust in the property, and our forced early departure. We are not people who complain lightly — in fact, we very rarely complain at all — but this experience was so serious that it completely ruined our trip and has had ongoing consequences well beyond the holiday itself. On the evening of Christmas Eve, while attending the hotel’s Christmas event, I became acutely unwell after consuming an alcoholic drink served at the hotel. We have receipts confirming that I had only one paid drink, and we were also given one complimentary drink by the hotel manager, served from behind the bar. Shortly after consuming this drink, I experienced sudden and severe nausea, vomiting, dizziness, visual disturbance, and loss of consciousness (blackout). These symptoms are medically consistent with suspected drink spiking. I remained seriously unwell for many hours and was still actively vomiting the following day at Koh Samui airport. We immediately informed hotel staff and requested urgent assistance. Despite this: • We were told to arrange our own transport to hospital • It took approximately 30 minutes for a staff member to come and assist us, despite repeated requests, no assistance was actually provided • No appropriate welfare support, safeguarding response, or duty of care was provided When we checked out early, no apology was offered, no concern was shown, and no formal incident process was initiated. Given the seriousness of a suspected spiking incident occurring on hotel premises — particularly involving female guests — this response was completely unacceptable. As a result, we no longer felt safe remaining at the property and made the decision to abandon our stay and leave the island early. In addition to the above, our stay was affected by numerous hygiene, safety, and service failures, including: • Mosquito larvae in the private pool, initially denied by staff and only resolved after chlorine was added following our complaint • Mould on the bed • A tree shrew inside the room on the first night due to holes in the window screens (repaired the following day) • Television not working (fixed the next day) • No fresh towels or clean cups unless specifically requested • No proper vegetarian options for Christmas dinner (only salad and soup), yet full buffet pricing still applied • We were not allowed to sit at a table or participate in Christmas celebrations unless we paid for the buffet, despite being paying guests; we were eventually given a bar seat • Tree cutting and maintenance taking place while we were using the pool, with branches and debris falling into the pool area • A power cut caused simply by using a hairdryer • Broken glass on the decking, which resulted in a cut to my foot • Exterior areas of the room never swept or maintained • Unprofessional staff behaviour, including offering free drinks and shots to a lone male guest and offering to meet him after their shift • On checkout, staff were rude and repeatedly demanded my partner reinsert her card for the deposit despite no outstanding charges • Housekeeping did not properly clean the room — staff only swept the floor and made the bed, with no disinfecting, wiping, or proper cleaning We also have serious concerns about unclear and potentially improper charging practices. Food and beverage items were already subject to a 10% service charge and 7% government tax, yet VAT then tax appeared to be applied again to the total invoice, resulting in inflated charges with little transparency. During happy hour, double service charge was applied. This review is written as a serious warning to other travellers. What should have been a safe and enjoyable Christmas holiday was instead a frightening, distressing experience that completely ruined our trip and has had lasting health and emotional consequences. I would not return, and I strongly believe other travellers — particularly female travellers — deserve to be fully aware of what we experienced before choosing to stay at this property

è un luogo molto tranquillo e non rumoroso

struttura abbastanza datata e molto trascurata nelle parti comuni. spiaggia poco pulita , lettini e ombrelloni tutti vecchi sciupati o rotti .i teli da mare sono sporchi e non vengono lavati ogni volta. area colazione non al livello del prezzo richiesto e cibo di scarsa qualità. un posto che potrebbe essere molto meglio se rinnovato e gestito meglio . attualmente per come si presenta non ha un buon rapporto qualità prezzo

Loved this resort, it did wonderful things for our health, particularly with getting our steps in :). Everything about this place was lovely. The highlight was the restaurant on the beach, very hard to beat watching the sea gently lapping at the shore with your morning coffee and brekkie. The pools were lovely, there were 3 to choose from, plus the sea itself. The restaurant served lovely food and the variety of foods available was very good. Our room was airy with great air con, it had a lovely deck with sunlounges, a table and chairs and a spa bath. Despite being surrounded by other villas, we had very good privacy both in the room and on the desk. The bathroom was modern and clean and well stocked with toiletries. The bed was huge and very comfortable so we slept very well. We would definitely stay there again, despite the 110 steps (from where our villa was) up and down to the restaurant and pools.

Slight downside was the need to ask for consumables like toilet paper and drinking water to be refreshed daily. We feared running out of toilet paper most of the week we were there. Things which people should be aware of when booking this resort are: 1. The number of steps up and down from the restaurant and pools (depending on where you were in the resort), I think there are about 150 between the lobby and the restaurant. 2. The location is a little remote from most of the main tourist districts but this was both a positive (peace and quiet) and a negative.

Staff were fantastic….. Anu, Patty, Mam and Isti were extremely accomodating and extremely helpful…..made the stay very special.
