The Manor Elstree

Staff; bed and bedding; decor was sensitive to a historic house; our room was in the house which looked much nicer than the annex; for older or disabled visitors, the bath did not have a usable grab rail it was far too low.

Our windows had no window stays so couldn’t be closed properly. The bedside lamps were tricky to turn on and off especially in the dark. The shampoo made my hair like straw.

I have stayed at the manor several times now and we love it. Lovely breakfast as well and staff great

Bed was slightly small this time or am I getting bigger. All pretty great as normal

Bar is extremely expensive. 2 Hot Chocolates with Bailey's was £27!!!!!! Ridiculous and go smacked. Might want to get a hot drinks menu for guests.

The receptionist was fabulous, gave us a great welcome. Hotel was lovely, so easy to get to Wembley Stadium

Nice hotel with lots of character and friendly staff. Unfortunately I can’t recommend the hotel, however, for anyone who wants a decent night’s sleep. The curtains are not only non-blackout but are almost entirely transparent, meaning I was woken up by bright sunlight shining in my face at 5.30am. This for me is such a basic requirement for a hotel room anywhere in the world and was extremely disappointing.
