Stunning from the second you drive through the gates, amazing staff, amazing comfy rooms, food outstanding - will be back again

The building and grounds are amazing but the hotel interior and room were tired and in desperate need of renovating especially after paying twice the cost of other beautiful hotels we stayed on our trip around UK, I could start being picky but I have to say all i could think of was Faulty Towers , a 3 star hotel looking to be a 5 star, The saving grace arr the views and grounds truly beautiful however we would look to stay elsewherr on out next visit

Beautiful location and building. Attentive staff, comfortable room.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff a very helpful and friendly. The food is delicious. We had a beautiful champagne afternoon tea on arrival and ate in the restaurant twice. We had our breakfast delivered to our room and we were on the top floor so it was cold when it arrived which was a pity. I would definitely recommend. We took a taxi to Yarm town which cost £7. It is a lovely place and the majority of places to eat there are a 5 star food hygiene rating.

We had a nice stay at this hotel but the room (standard) was small, not indicative of website images which were no doubt the superior rooms. The toilet was dirty and bath dusty so that wasn't so good. Night trolley with extra drink making stuff though so great service from staff and very friendly.

The staff were all amazing and so helpful with everything, they really couldn't do enough for you. We had a lovely night away and can't wait to go back!

We needed a break driving from London to Scotland and chose this hotel in Yarm as a place not too far from the road. What a haven it turned out to be! We were late leaving Lonon and were unlucky with holdups and average speed cameras so didn't arrive till 9.30pm. I phoned ahead to say we would be late, and the very reasuring receptionist wished us a good journey and told us food was available in the bar until 10pm. This was a relief. As I had been engaged in hard physical work in London I was looking forward to a bbath and comfortable bed. All my wishes wer granted when I saw our room. I am not sure if we were upgraded but the room was really a suite, absolutely enormous, and so comfortable. There was a huge bath and seperate huge shower. The bed was heaven to sleep in. Breakfast in the morning was eggs benedict which my husband declared "best ever". Staff uniformly friendly and helpful. A great stay.

Fabulous impressive hotel... Ground floor area needs a bit of a refurb but new area that has been refurbished in the bedroom area is amazing and very impressive... Fantastic breakfast menu a lovely breakfast. I would go back again and look forward to a return visit.
