Rookery Hall Hotel

Absolutely wonderful hotel and even better restaurant. Having stayed elsewhere in the area recently, I moved to this property the second week of my journey. Even though both hotels were rated similarly, I can tell you there is no comparison. The attention to detail here is top notch in everything they do from the grounds, rooms and common areas to the staff cleaning your room. In my opinion he restaurant is worthy of a Michelin star for their creativity, quality and service. Try the tasting menu with the wine pairing for an amazing culinary experience.

Despite air conditioning not working in the room was an amazing trip away. Food was out of this world, facilities were great and little touches for kids like cookies and milk at bed made it magical

The hotel was lovely, clean and the staff couldn’t do enough- really excellent service. Good COVID measures in place too. We ate in the restaurant and the food was really good. Overall a great stay and would highly recommend.

Perfect overnight break. Staff were professional and friendly. Bed was very comfy and the spa was quiet and very clean.

Felt service a bit haphazard and was a little disappointed with food, guess expectation was too high. But room clean and hotel grounds nice. Staff at reception very friendly.

The hotel room has the rear of the building had fabulous views across the Cheshire countryside. The quality of the service was excellent and the food, imaginative, beautifully presented and a really good standard. Breakfast was good but let down by airline standard pastries but the service again was professional and friendly. The TV in the room was standard hotel fare with no HD channels - disappointing given the price point of the room. The hotel take the full payment in advance - with Hotel.Com having nothing on their website to this effect which felt very misleading. The spa facilities were good, clean and well maintained
