"Beautiful hotel, quiet, great location but gives off a feeling of being out in the middle of nowhere."

The hotel is well taken care with gorgeous architecture. We stayed in the Queens Chamber which is beautiful with modern amenities. The staff is down to earth and friendly. Food was delicious and the bed is sooo comfortable.

The staff were all polite and friendly.

The cooked breakfast was amongst the worst I’ve ever had at a hotel. Despite the hotel looking beautifully characterful from the outside, the rooms were also spectacularly disappointing — barely any better than a Premier Inn.

We thought that the staff were excellent but the smell in the communal areas was not fresh and the grounds and building needed attention

We didn’t sleep well due to our mattress which rolled us into the middle.The chain in the bath was odd and obstructive!
