BREAKFAST WAS GOOD AND STAFF ALL VERY HELPFUL

The decor is a little dated and could do with a refresh

The whole experience was excellent, all the staff were very helpful. The food in the restaurant was the best that we've had in a very long time

We attended for a family wedding reception and had a wonderful time. For the event itself the room was beautiful and the food was excellent- coming out all together and hot. Our room was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was great too. All of the service over the course of our stay was exceptional but a particular thanks to David H who couldn’t do enough for us and Ciaran at for great breakfast service. A wonderful experience all round and would happily return!

We held our 50th Wedding Anniversary gathering at Woodlands Park Hotel on 25th April 2025. The Hotel is located in a beautiful area and has large grounds which are ideal for guests and children to take part in outdoor games. We hired two rooms for the occasion, the Drawing Room and the Garden Room. These were ideal for our purposes, clean, warm and set up very well for out guests, with the coffee and drinks in the Garden Room and the buffet in the Drawing Room. The Garden Room was ideal for access to the grounds. We were never troubled by other guests or noise from other areas of the Hotel, in fact it felt at times that we had exclusive use of the area where we congregated. From the first contact with the team at Woodlands to the close of the event the staff were keen to ensure a beautiful day and couldn't have been more accommodating to all our needs. We had thirty guests and were pleasantly surprised by the competitive pricing which was better then other places we visited when seeking the 'right' venue for us. During the day the team looking after us were friendly super efficient but discreetly available when required. They couldn't have been more helpful. All in all the experience was just right for us from the first contact to the last. We would have no hesitation in recommending Woodlands Park for similar events.

Nice grounds, quirky / creepy paintings were fun

The greeting staff failed to smile once. The room was small, there was a random switch which didn’t make sense in the bathroom and we had to flick the fuse board to get any lights to work. The shower guard didn’t block the water from the shower in the bathroom so it got all over the floor. We also didn’t like how a service charge was automatically added to our food bill
