Incredible staff, excellent grounds, good food, nice rooms, overall value felt great. What makes this special is the people - every single person we interacted with was helpful, polite, kind and went above & beyond. Location is great and you're well connected.

The charging outside for EVs is a bit pricey. A bit of noise from the M25 if you have windows open.

"Venue"

We went here for an 80th birthday party afternoon tea. A beautiful setting, lovely staff and a relaxing afternoon. The Oak Room is serene although the carpet near us was dirty with food on it. Two of us had the plant-based menu and the other two had the traditional afternoon tea. Whilst the traditional afternoon tea was good but very sweet, the plant based menu gave us a wonderful presentation of food but the sandwiches were not only stale, but the fillings were sparse and of low effort. One was literally chopped up olives. They tasted like yesterday's sandwiches. The scones were dry too. However, the mousse and cakes were very tasty and we enjoyed them. We expected the quality to be on a par with The Ivy which is the same price. It wouldn't put me off going again but I would next time send the sandwiches back, not wanting to make any awkwardness for our guest on this occasion.
