Great place to stay

Love the breakfast and the staff. Stayed about 10 nights and there were a number of loud parties. Although another room was offered I didn’t want to move. The shower leaked a lot of water across bathroom with each use even after staff came to fix it.

Staff is friendly and there is a security guy in front of the hotel. This is the 2nd time I’m staying at this hotel at the same week, first time there was an issue with the hot tub (jacuzzi). A third party manages the pool and gym area and drained the hot tub at 7:45pm. The receptionist said the area would close at 8pm (even though during check in they said it is open until 10pm). This second time, I was given a room key and when I opened the door and walked in the room, there was someone’s else belongs. Very unsafe and made me worried about my belongs while I’m not in the room. I went back to the front desk, they weren’t concerned and stated it never happens. They upgrade my room but not sure if I want to stay in this hotel in the future.

This hotel advertises itself as a 5 star hotel. When you first go inside, it’s beautiful and festive with decor. You are greeted with a hello but the front desk isn’t that friendly. We asked for bottles of water and they said he had to pay and then said never mind you can have them for free. We went to our room and it was off to a good start with a big room with a living room, AC, clean bed and bathroom. Unfortunately, they had a party the evening we were there. Even on the 4th floor, we could hear the music from the party. Our walls were vibrating and all we could hear was the bass from their music. We went downstairs to complain and the front desk said that the party would end by 2am. We waited until about 2:30-2:45am for the music to stop. We got up at 5am that day to travel to Banos on a tour with 0 sleep. Too much noise from too many private activities but a good hotel.
