Fantastic location close to Bepler

Room felt very dated and in need of work.

Very tired and totally needs a full revamp

Breakfast buffet - food containers and contaminated cutlery to serve the food with. I am allergic to eggs and the spoons were in the eggs and in the beans! Disgusting and the hot food was there for a while so the bacon was very hard - it's just the overall buffet that was not in line with health and safety. The hotel seemed to be short staffed and nobody at bar to serve drinks in daytime. The grounds needed attention. The door lock was temperamental. The tv signal kept cutting out

The decor

No usb ports, rooms very dated and basic

The hotel was absolutly stunning. Such beautiful scenery, and very well looked after. Breakfast was very tasty All the staff were friendly and opened the bar when we fancied a drink. Deffo stay here again

The only issue we had was the toilet in our room. Didn't flush very well and it wasnt the cleanest in the bottom of the toilet

Nice big bed, room decor was ok. Shower was powerful enough. The main hotel looked very nice. The gardens were very nice.

Broken floor tiles in the bathroom (Nearly cut my foot open), mouldy shower head, furniture looks a bit tired. The courtyard area needs some love to bring it back to its former glory.

Having stayed before in a lovely room a couple of years ago, the room we had (number 18) was very disappointing: Peeling wallpaper, frayed curtains, a faulty bedside lamp, bathroom fan broken, very uncomfortable mattress on a tiny bed (no mattress protector!!). No ability to turn on heating in bathroom and scraps of old food under the sofa. Dinner in the restaurant was very expensive for very meagre portions (not even a whole strawberry on the Eaton Mess!) and service was mediocre.
