Location is excellent for train station and access to the town. Rooms were clean, well decorated, quiet and peaceful.

No late night access other than knocking the door and hoping the night staff hear you.

Location and fan in bedroom. Comfortable bed

Room needed upgrade. Dirty carpet. Cup stains on bedside cabinet

nothing room was filthy no aircon or fan in 30 degree heat id like a cleaner on site bed was comfy only positive

bathroom mat was filthy and mouldy floor was filthy upon arrival room hadnt been cleaned tiles falling off the wall pubic hair in the bath needs a lot maintenance. got told parking was free on room description but had to pay all day everyday. didnt get offered any hotel food but took £100 pre authorisation for food and drink

Perfect location if visiting The Piece Hall in Halifax. Two minutes walk from station to Hotel. Hotel to piece Hall, another two minute walk! Staff welcoming, attentive, helpful when l visited. Special thanks to Mary and Deacon, who have great customer service skills! Hotel was ok for me, as location was perfect. Easy to walk around Halifax, lovely little town. All locals l spoke to were all nice and friendly. Room as described on website, deposit of £100 on arrival, as described in message sent prior to arrival. Money is not taken from your account, it is only taken if any damage is caused by guest during stay. I was told at reception when checking out, l would be reimbursed by 11.00am, that day. I checked my bank account when l arrived home, no money was taken out, so no money needed to be refunded. Staff just need to mention this to guests, that would clear up any confusion. The single room l stayed in was ok. The new dining/ breakfast room is lovely.

That l didn't stay another night.

I loved all the direction signs to the bedrooms. No chance of not finding the right one or getting lost!

The safe to cross tone from the nearby pedestrian crossing kept repeating to the point of irritation.
