The Imperial Crown Hotel

Stayed for one night - mostly due to the proximity to the Piece Hall to see a band. Hotel was fine, the room was a bit dated but perfectly clean and functional - the shower was better than I was expecting. Location is great if you are going to the Piece Hall.

Parking was suspended due to road closure for gig (however that was not the hotels fault)

Excellent location. Across from train station. Minutes from The Piece Hall.

A little bare bones for $150 a night. No wifi. No air con. Furniture was missing broken pieces. But, I don't believe there are any high end hotels in the area. A modern Fawlty Towers!!

Great location, friendly staff

Room was too hot. Only a small window could be opened and there was no fan provided. Shower was over bath and, without a bath mat, I didn't feel safe using it.

Only plus was the location which was near to train station and the piece hall/town centre.

Room was very small headboard hanging off the wall bathroom old fashion and mucky with a lino that was a yellow colour which should be white the blind in the room had no cord that was on the side the curtain rail was hanging off some staff was not so friendly but lad on arrival was good the breakfast was poor all cold which we left and informed the staff member offered another one but it was so bad we didn't bother the place has no lift so the stairs all creaked and the carpets was dirty and the place had a musty smell in the corridors needs a upgrade this place

Friendly staff, clean rooms, great breakfast

The lady on the desk she was brilliant

It was damp in the rooms and the duty manager was obnoxious and sarcastic when we went to change rooms
