Great value prices, near railway station and town centre.

No car park. A bit tatty and tired - but good vfm

It was opposite the train station

Everything. No towel for a shower,had to go to reception to get one down 3flights of stairs.no aircon or fan,would be really hot as it was on the top floor in summer. Uncomfortable bed with noisy springs every time you turned. Bed against a wall, so you banged your arm or knees when turning. Stains on walls and door,dead moth in lighting, dirty carpet that looked like it had been there for years. 1970s looking furniture and bathroom suite with poor repairs obviously to the eye(sink and moved sockets).toilet seat different colour to suite and not aligned properly. No one on reception when leaving to checkout, had to ring head office after waiting 45mins. would never stay here again, it needs closure for a full refurbishment.

Stayed for one night, 12th-13th May. The hotel was nice enough, the beds were comfy and it was a perfect location, it wasn't the ritz but we hadn't payed Ritz prices, the stay was pretty good to be fair. What was disappointing though...we were asked to pay £100.00 deposit, we paid this, fortunately I had taken my credit card and the money was returned the nxt day. If the deposit was mentioned at time of booking I may have reconsidered staying there, because, after all, we were looking for a cheap stay overnight and, had we not had means to pay the deposit, we could have been embarrassed. I think people need to be made aware of this deposit

Close to the venue

The staff, the room ... absolutely dreadful! Paid over £96, and it's definitely not worth that price.
