Ramada by Wyndham Crawley Gatwick

Great location for a business trip landed at Gatwick, just a few minutes drive away.

In the middle of the town. Property with history.

Only stayed one night , met it expectations. Although at little difficult to find, better signage might help

Smells from High Street fast food shops backing onto tje hotel were constant. Plug in the basin didn't close. Had to ask for loo roll. Not enough initially. Hotel could do with a full internal redec and refurb. Very dated and run down now. Been using it for years and it's never been updated. That said, staff are superb. Friendly and efficient.

No A/C but a very hot building with very few windows. 1st and 2nd floors have many levels of steps. These steps should be posted for people who Have problems with steps. Too many steps for a lower floor.

The whole hotel is falling apart - heavily stained carpets, mismatched furniture, tiny little cheapest possible television with 4 channels none of which got a signal, no power sockets anywhere near the bed (nearest was 12 foot away!), bathroom full of mould, no Wi-fi signal in the room, cheapest possible tea and coffee. A signficant portion of the guests are placed there by the council apparently so it’s more of a halfway house than a hotel.

Very helpful and friendly staff, sadly the room was a little worse for wear it was clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable but it was just dated and a little outdated.

We were in a building in the back. It was alright, but not a memorable experience

everything was great during my stay except for tv reception.
