Prices for food and drink were quite steep
USGotta say, this place is really nice. They have extensively remodelled the resort, including a new restaurant and pool. The grounds are well kept. The resort staff are uniformly polite and helpful, with one glaring exception. The front desk clerks were rude, condescending, and somewhat snide on check-in. Our room was not ready, and they seemed to take delight in our discomfort while waiting in the sweltering heat. They made no effort to check with the housekeeping staff. They “guarantee” check-in at 4:00, and not a minute sooner. We were notified that our room was ready at 3:44. Other than that, once we were checked in, the resort was excellent.
