The Westin St. Louis

We were really excited to stay here at The Westin St. Louis. However the young man at check in Min Khant and the gentleman at breakfast was the only polite employees they have. Every time the heat kicked on in our room it smelt like sewage, the cabinet in the bathroom was broken, the body wash in the shower was empty, could not call guest relations from the room busy signal all night long. The night staff was RUDE, RUDE, RUDE!!! We were told at check in we had breakfast, the next morning the young man behind the counter was even more rude then the night staff over our breakfast voucher. the only thing that made it ok was the older gentleman in the restaurant for breakfast. He was everything the rest of the staff should have been. Paying what we paid for a room, not to mention a 20 oz bottle of soda was $6.00. You would think that their staff would have better customer service. That being said Thank you to Min Khant and the gentleman at breakfast for having great customer service. They deserve a raise and they rest need a class on customer service.

A/C wasn’t working the first night but they fixed it and was so much cooler in our room

The room was nice after they gave us the correct one. We had to switch rooms based off them not giving me what I paid for.

The staff was absolutely TERRIBLE, breakfast was gross and we didn’t even get our full order that we prepaid for, we got there to eat at 9am where we waiting for the host to seat us until 945am. We ordered our food and didn’t start to get PARTIAL ORDER until 11am. By then I’m furious and ready to go, since I watched our order sit in the window for 20 minutes and that’s with me pointing it out that it’s been sitting. I had to rush them to get my husband some fruit because his sugars were getting very low waiting almost 2 hours for our food. They said “waiting for the rest of it”. We were put in the wrong room and had to switch, and no accommodations were made AT ALL for the inconvenience. Staff was rude and didn’t care to help make our stay any better. Requesting a full refund as the front desk person who worked on Sunday 01/04 from AM shift said we can receive a full refund.

Leah at the front desk, THANK YOU. she noticed right away that i would need a bit of a room switch & if thats not a shining star in hospitality then what is! the entire staff was such a delight, from the other 2 front desk girls (thank you miss for making me a new room key!!!!) the valet, maintenance. everyone was so wonderful & i hope i need to return to St Louis in the future so i can re visit!
