Hotel Eden Roc

Great view from atop the Eden Roc property. Typical of Positano restaurants, it was overpriced and the menu and food were mediocre. Would not recommend going there.

What an incredible stay here at the Eden Roc. It was truly magical. WE LOVE PASCALl What an incredible member of this staff. He made an impression right off the bat, being extremely personable, friendly, and always willing to go above and beyond. There was no request that was unreasonable to him. He was extremely proactive, suggesting things we would like or want before we even thought of it. We got engaged at the Adamo ed Eva restaurant, and the staff was immensely helpful in setting this up. The front desk was incredible and accommodating 24/7. We look forward to our next stay!

We had the most amazing trip to Italy. Our stop in Positano was truly fabulous. Eden Roc Hotel and staff are so lovely and easy to work with from the moment you arrive to when you depart. We ate dinner and breakfast there most days. Lunch and a few dinners were elsewhere. Our room was spectacular with a huge deck and spa which was so nice after long days on the beach or site seeing. The bathroom was gigantic and so nice. This size of room is truly hard to find in Europe. We will be back to this hotel.

This is absolutely the best hotel in Positano. We had a jr sea view suite and the views are just like the ones you see on Instagram. But what makes this place better than all the rest are its employees. It started as soon as we walked in and Pascal immediately greeted us as if we were best friends and known each other for years. He bent over backwards to make sure we had a great time. Asia and Marcella at the front desk were also incredibly helpful in making our stay truly memorable. I'm not exactly sure how to describe our waiter for breakfast each morning. I guess the best words to describe Tony is Mr. Personality. He is probably one of the best waiters we've ever had. At any restaurant, anywhere in the world, including multiple Michelin restaurants we've experienced. Yes, he's that good. You have to experience a Tony Breakfast to understand. If you are thinking about staying in Positano, this should be your first choice.

Heaven on earth in the heart of Positano! This boutique hotel is great location on Amalfi Road with great access to anywhere on coast. Rooms are spacious, restaurants are delicious, room service is quick BUT the BEST is the staff who make you feel like family. Truly delighted by Asia and Marcella on our return each day!!!

Excellent Hotel and wonderful staff

From the first greeting to the final good bye - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We even wished we could stay longer. All the staff were friendly and informative. We got a full tour of the hotel at check in. The front desk helped us with transportation as well as other helpful information about the area. Walking distance to beach , ferry launch as well as shopping and dining . The view from our balcony was amazing. It was interesting to watch the boats down below. We enjoyed breakfast each morning with friendly staff . We also enjoyed Eden sky bar for apertivo . If you are in Positano - this is the place to stay .

After searching many hotels I finally decided on Hotel Eden ROC because I wanted a place that had a sea and city view and I also loved that some of the rooms also have a jacuzzi which is a nice treat at the end of the evening. I was a bit worried because I thought it might be too far from the main square but it is only a short walk from everywhere. I loved that you could get to the beach and ferries within a 15 minute leisurely stroll but it was also a little bit out of the fray from all the tourists. Another bonus is the hotel has two of the best restaurants in Positano which is Adamo ed Eva which sits on the top terrace with a magical view of the city and ROC pizza and steak on the main level. For breakfast you have the option of sitting at the beautiful dining space with a made to order breakfast or make your own plate from the buffet. Alternatively room service can bring breakfast to your room so you can enjoy from your terrace. Tony is the person who will greet you in the morning and be your server for breakfast. He has worked at the hotel for 25 years and the pride that he takes in his work shows. He brings a positive energy that is infectious. I had read about him in many other reviews before I arrived and now I know why so many people mentioned him by name. Marcella at the front desk made us feel very welcomed. She is an American who shared that she came on vacation years before and loved the town of Positano so much that she decided to stay. I can’t say that I blame her and wouldn’t mind if Hotel Eden ROC has room for two more. I recommend this hotel wholeheartedly. It’s conveniently located near a bus and the main road so car transportation can leave you at the front door with luggage or if you need a taxi to a restaurant that is a bit far and uphill. Although some reviewers mentioned the noise level from the street or the restaurant was bothersome, we hardly noticed any noise at all from inside the room. We stayed in the jacuzzi room which was a bit of a splurge but was one hundred percent worth it. It has a beautiful view of the sea and a side view of the city that catches the sun setting behind the hill and the beautiful glistening lights of the city and moon. The room itself is magnificent. The shower pressure is strong. Plenty of closet space and bathroom counter space. A/c is powerful and bed is super comfortable. Staying inside Positano won’t come cheap. But In my opinion it’s worth staying here because the ability to walk through the town early in the morning before the bustle starts or late in the evening after the day trippers have left is priceless. Skip the Air Bnbs, which is driving housing prices up all over Italy, Stay in Hotel Eden ROC, which is a luxury stay without breaking the bank, but reserve early because rooms book up well in advance.

Stunning property offering the most breathtaking views of Positano’s coast below. Staff that will literally go so far out of their way to maintain guests comfortability and happiness. Very communicative and on top of guests individual schedule. Intimate number of people so they are able to maintain great focus on each persons daily needs and schedule and never drop the ball. Food is exceptionally well done to the point that you don’t feel like you need to explore outside the hotel, lol—truth! Enjoyed every moment of this place.
