Baymont by Wyndham Roanoke Rapids

It looks like a motel, the parking lot was basically empty. The room was dingy, old, with two double beds, and it smelled. She showed me two other rooms, they were just as bad.

Breakfast was good older motel

The mirror, toilet and sink were dirty. Pillows were not properly on the bed. Sink had a drip and dropped all night

Dirty bathroom. Towels had hair on them. Refrigerator not very cold. Door was broken and not secure.

Room and hotel smelled of cigarettes even though it’s signage said no smoking. Smoke detector in bedroom was covered by a plastic bag

Terrible. Couldn't stay.

Staff polite and breakfast was what you would expect. Room had uneven laminate flooring with random raises and falls. Bathroom had cigarette burns on tub. Toilet paper holder falling out of the wall. Walls so thin anytime someone ran the shower in another room, you heard it. Room smelt of Marijuana. Deadbolt did not lock on door and all that could be used was the door kick latch.

The lobby was nice. Room is partially renovated. The deadbolt on our door doesn’t work. The mini fridge was unplugged so we could not store our items.

The breakfast area in the morning had roaches crawling around the food area and they really need to update their rooms and paint them and do some maintenance work in them. The sheets also are yellow so I wasn’t too happy with paying $100 a night for that type of quality of room I’m very disappointed.

The outside premises was not maintained. Noone likes to step over cats or any animal to access their room. The bathroom was not very clean. The floors in the room were slippery. There was not a good continental breakfast selection (No cereal of any kind)! No bedspread or blanket for the bed.
