It was the best hotel I’ve stayed in in a while.
Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Good wifi. Only downside is everything is a drive.
Old property but decent rooms. Clean and we used the laundry for $2 a load. The breakfast was nice with a lot of Variety. Eggs/ bacon/hot oatmeal and a waffle making station. Yogurt and many pastries. 24 hr tea and coffee was available which was nice as well. Close to Old Orchard Beach area and Portland is about 10 min away. The only thing I would suggest is to get a brighter light for their sign because you can hardly see it off the road and you’ll miss it!
The bathroom wasn’t very clean. The front desk lady wasn’t very friendly. The bed was very comfortable.
Bathrooms are more than outdated. Bath tub is slippery especially for the busload of seniors in front of me for check-in.

The staff was great! Everyone was very friendly, the issues we had during our stay was the entertainment. We wish we had a smart tv or at least the Netflix app. The toilets were very low to the ground, we almost stumbled over when we went to go and sit down.
As a travel agent I've learned to expect the unexpected. However, since Covid started almost 100 % of airlines, hotels and tour companies are there to help. This Hotel kept every dime of a stay a single Mom had booked, she had to cancel within 2 weeks of departure due to COVID quarantine restrictions for her son. This hotel refuses to refund a single dime of the pre-paid total. I would expect a cancellation 24-48 hours prior with a one night penalty, but the entire 1042.79? Shame on them. Hampton Inn will not be my go-to anymore.
USWe recently stayed at the Comfort Suites (formerly Hampton Inn) in Saco, Maine and it was a great experience. The property and hotel was very clean and updated -- we felt relaxed and that we made a great "Choice", pun intended. The room was fantastic! It was updated, cheerful, clean, and comfortable. This was one of the most quiet properties we've stayed in since we started traveling over a year ago. The breakfast was very nice and plenty of options. The staff was super nice, especially Bruce. The price was a bit high for the location and what we're used to, but it was certainly better than 80% of the hotels we've lived in.
USThis hotel does not exist anymore as of 9/1/21. We drove up to find a new sign on the front of the building when we arrived. Disappointed with Hilton that they did not advise us that the hotel had been sold when we had a reservation for over a month ahead of our trip.
