Comfort Inn Saco - Old Orchard Beach

Booked as Hampton Inn and we had stayed there many times before. We got there to find out it is now Comfort Inn. Upset that Hotels.com did not notify us of the change. Ran the breakfast as a buffet during a pandemic!, should have had helpers serving as there were 3 staff on duty at the breakfast. should have had rolls, breads etc individually wrapped. Kept awake ALL night by unruly guests slamming doors, making loud noises, gathering in hallway and right outside our ground floor window. This was all within 15 feet of front desk! Lasted from 7 pm until after 4 AM. Why did staff not respond? Not anywhere near the standards we expected nor worth the $$ we spent. Feel like we were conned by not being notified of the change and we instead ended up at a low class inn.

warning! This hotel just changed franchise from Hampton inn to Comfort Inn! I will probably not book it if i knew this. when i checked in, the front desk accidentally charged me again even i fully paid through hotels.com. but i noticed that the price they charged me was lower thab the amount i paid. probably because it is now a Comfort Inn?

Hotel was easy to find. Leads than a mile off the highway. Very quiet. Rooms very clean. Comfortable beds. COVID protocols in place. Tables in dining area were cleaned as soon as someone got up. Great complimentary breakfast. The waffles are my favorite!

The staff was excellent

Hampton Inn was a pleasant surprise as far as cleanliness inside the hotel and in the rooms, as well as their care in preparing the breakfast buffet which had an assortment of items to consider. Check in was easy. The only complaint is the price which for one room with two beds was $375 for one night. We had a college move in the next day so had to find something and there wasn’t much available from Brunswick to Saco. Was hoping for downtown Portland but everything was sold out or $700 per night! Assume this was summer time prices on a weekend AND a year of hell in a pandemic that has everyone trying to get away. Other than the price, this was a good stay. Not Much in the immediate vicinity of the Hampton Inn but easy access off the highway.

Nice hotel. Weird location-nothing close by but the highway. Pool needs attention. Walls are SO thin we heard the alarm go off in room next to us!! Comfortable beds and everything appears to be clean.

I'm so glad I chose this hotel instead of the others I was looking at! it was ridiculously clean!!! and the check in was quick and simple, we had no problems at all and had a great stay!! front desk woman were both very friendly aswell. we stayed in the king bed suite.. it is big and perfect!

Great hotel. Real friendly staff

We decided to stay here on our trip to Maine. This hotel was way better than expected. We were checked in by Robin, the general manager. She was kind and helpful. She definitely made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Marty is the best overnight person we’ve encountered in a long time. He was nice and pleasant and actually took time to ask about how our stay was. He also fixed us a breakfast bag since we left way before breakfast was served. We also got great service from Bruce and Maeve. Our room was clean and comfortable. Our room was at the end of the hall. And even though we had neighbors in all directions, we didn’t hear noise from any of them. The hotel is about 10 minutes from Old Orchard Beach. It’s also conveniently located off I-95/Maine Turnpike at Exit 36 to Exit 1 off I-195. We would definitely stay here again
